    WWW Resources For Struggling Cammodels

RESOURCES FOR SEX WORKERS WHO MIGHT BE STRUGGLING

This is a list of resources for those in our community who might be struggling. I hope we can add to this list and share vital information with our fellow community members.

GENERAL ASSISTANCE, FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, AND GRANTS

    1. CATHOLIC CHARITIES
With over 160 different agencies in the country, Catholic Charities works to end poverty and help individuals, regardless of their religion.

The organization offers community food banks and serves meals at soup kitchens. They also provide food for children who need a meal after school hours, including on weekends or during the summer.

For families trying to manage a strict grocery budget, they offer cooking classes and educational programs to help you maximize every dollar.

If you’re in danger of losing your home and becoming homeless, they even provide emergency housing assistance through one-time financial aid to pay your rent or mortgage. If that’s not an option in your situation, they can connect you to housing options in your area.

For more information, please visit www.catholiccharitiesusa.org/find-help/

    3. SINGLE MOTHERS GRANTS

This website offers the largest directory of single mother grants help with rent, utility bills, childcare, education, medication, housing, medical bills, and mortgage among others. Grants published on this website are made available from a variety of sources - state, federal, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions. Many of these financial assistance programs have limited funding and some programs might stipulate that the single mother meet specific income requirements.

For more information, please visit www.singlemothergrants.org

    2. FREE CHARITY CARS
For many people, transportation is a major issue. Particularly for those in suburban or rural areas, public transportation may not be an option. Not having access to a train or bus line can limit employment opportunities, reducing your earning potential.

Free Charity Cars strives to address this issue by providing free cars to people on the path to self-sufficiency. By getting a car free of charge, the hope is that individuals will be able to better access jobs and other resources.

To find out more or to apply for a car, please visit www.freecharitycars.org .

    3. GRADIENT GIVES BACK COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAM
The Gradient Gives Back Community Outreach Program aims to help poor and distressed Americans at risk of losing their homes.

Whether you own your home or are renting, the organization provides mortgage payment or lease assistance by making payments for you. While they are based in Minnesota, they assist families nationwide.

For more information or to apply for assistance, please visit www.gradientgivesback.com/foundation

    4. THE MODEST NEEDS GRANT
Unlike many charities, Modest Needs tries to prevent financial disasters by helping families before they become homeless. They focus on those who are just one or two paychecks away from an emergency.

The organization provides short-term financial assistance to those in a temporary crisis, such as a sudden job loss or big medical bill. Many recipients are ineligible for aid from other organizations because they are technically above the poverty line but are still on the brink of losing everything.

Modest Needs offers self-sufficiency grants to help give you a hand. They give particular consideration to single persons, public school teachers, and first responders struggling to make ends meet.

If you’re unable to pay rent this month because of an unexpected car repair or you’re worried about paying the utilities because you have a hospital bill, this grant can help.

For more information or to apply for a grant, please visit www.modestneeds.org

    5. NETWISH
NetWish is a nonprofit focused on paying it forward. Individuals provide help to others by granting small “wishes” or requests for help that cost $200 or less. The charity will send gift cards to recipients to help them pay for rent, utilities, medical bills, or to buy clothes for a job interview.

While the amounts are relatively small, $200 can be enough to buy groceries for a month, keep the power on, buy school textbooks, or put gas in your car. It can be an important safety net in an emergency.

To submit a request, please visit www.netwish.org and click on “Make a NetWish.”

    7. UNITED WAY 211
The United Way 211 Information and Assistance Helpline is a free and confidential service available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. By calling, emailing, or texting 2-1-1, you can get connected to local resources to help you through a crisis.

Whether you need emergency food stamps, housing, medical aid, or are a victim of domestic abuse, 211 can help you find services in your area.

For more information, please visit www.211.org .

    8. NEED HELP PAYING BILLS

Find information on programs that offer a number of ways to get help with paying bills. The resources available that may help with these payments include: financial assistance programs, social services programs, housing assistance programs, food assistance programs, medical and dental care assistance, debt assistance, transportation assistance, legal assistance.

    MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES

    1. PINEAPPLE SUPPORT

Pineapple Support is a non-profit organization that provides 24/7 emotional support and professional therapy sessions to adult industry performers and producers. They offer anonymous 24/7 peer-to-peer listening support through a secure online therapy platform. They also offer free or subsidized professional therapy and counseling sessions with sex-worker friendly therapists. These sessions are offered both face-to-face and by online video therapy sessions. This is a very good list. I volunteered a lot in Vegas and Catholic charities is amazing!!! Also..I wanted to add to this list. I know we all get in a cash flow problems every now and then...like due to SM contests lol..and many modes do those payday loans. Those are bad but if you are in need it's an option. I'd like to say that if you are a model with Boleyn Models..they have an advance program that is amazing and very cheap compared to the others out there. There are rules of course but if I'm robbed and no money and need cash asap..I know where I can go in a true emergency. I am a model with them an I just wanted to add it to the list here. Just another resource. You do have to be with the agency to use the advance system.

    1. Jewish Family Services is another non-profit organization with around 140 chapters through out the United States. You can do a Google search for Jewish Family Services to see a list of chapters in your region. Just like Christian Catholic Charities you don't have to be a person of Jewish faith. They provide assistance via food pantries, bill payments, job training and more.

    2. If you have children and want to save money on daycare and babysitters consider the 4-H Club. Depending on your local chapter they may have a daily after school program, sometimes it's twice a week. Some chapters have 4H Camps during the holidays, spring break and during the summer. They're not sleep over camps but more like a day camp setting where your kid can go for a few hours.

    3. The Legal Aid Society - If you need help and advice regarding issues due to bankruptcy, evictions and foreclosures, there are Legal Aid Societies all over the United States. They are a non-profit organization composed of lawyers willing to offer legal services and advocate for disadvantaged persons.

    Extreme Couponing
It's a tried and true way to make ends meet a lot easier. I should know, as I personally turned to it when hard times fell on my household. Yes, it's entirely possible to save hundreds per week doing it and even end up with a pantry full of food/extras.

Does anyone know the likelihood of getting $4500 assistance (rent for grandma and I and medical cost of expensive perscription (1000+)? My bank account was recently hacked and I'm out everything I had saved in there (15000) and don't have enough time to make the money through camming. Landlord doesn't care and I'm trying to keep my grandma and I from getting kicked out.....any chance one of the places on the list would be helpful? I'm so stressed out....

    Hi Hazel,

I'm sorry to hear about your situation. Is your bank a banking institution located in the United States? Because deposits up to $250,000 are insured by the United States government. Contact your bank and the FDIC to see what can be done. Hacking is a form of identity theft and usually money lost/stolen through identity theft is covered by banking institutions and credit card companies.

Also, unauthorized access to funds in your bank account may be covered by the Electronic Funds Transfer Act and other consumer protections. If a third party somehow gains access to your bank account and transacts business you did not authorize, you must contact the bank as soon as you notice the loss to learn about their procedures for recovering your lost/stolen funds.

Someone hacked into my bank account last year and sent $500 using Zelle 'to mom' in Georgia. I reported to my bank and they reimbursed me the fund within a few days. 15,000 is substantial, your bank should take care of it ASAP!

THANK YOU. This thread is very much appreciated and needed right now, as I'm preparing to leave this minimum wage daycare job, and get one of these jobs out here that are currently hiring at $15/hr and paying WEEKLY. Trying to get us out of this hotel room, and get back into an apartment for me and my son. I'm on waiting lists for subsidized apartments also (Their waiting lists are long).

Firmoo is another spot for inexpensive glasses, plus they're on trend.

Look them up on YouTube to see people model their glasses.

I made the dumbass mistake of going to the hospital for a migraine. They treated me so bad, I ended up walking out because at that point, overdosing on migraine pills from Walgreens was the best option for me. But now I'm getting flooded with bills, even though the finance department said county would help. Which I'm sure was a lie. Who can I contact for medical bill help because I cant afford to pay them.

contact your insurer and see if they can help. most have low income assistance. if you're not insured, contact the billing company directly and see if you can get on a payment plan (many will work with you because they'd prefer that to sending you to collections). if you are not insured, next year PLEASE GET INSURANCE! most states have low income health insurance available for little to no money. you never know when you're going to have a medical emergency. I went from perfectly healthy to chronically ill over the course of a month & if i hadn't had insurance, it would have cost me over 25k out of pocket the first year.

I have had two hospital trips since November - the hospital had a specific depart Med-assist ( maybe different for your state) - they take all of your financial info and see what resources are available - Contact the billing department of the hospital and see what they can do?

I have been hospitalized for weeks at a time in the past and emergency medicaid helped. talk to the hospital billing dept and that person is usually a social worker

He does recommend zenni if you know what you are doing.
He mainly recommends them for children
Zenni also is not monitored by higher up to make sure we are getting our proper prescriptions. i forgot what he called the high up.

I have the flashes too. My ophthalmologist told me it would go away within 6 months but it still happens 3 years later. Do you also have floaters? I do but I don't notice them as much anymore.

I tried zenni but apparently I don't know what I'm doing. lol
