Default Urban clubs doing better or worse with time?

I am just curious as to what these urban clubs are like... not that I am itching to go to one or would even fit in anyways. But as we all know the rich or generally well off white man's clubs are definitely dying out due to a lot of factors we've already all discussed on here 100s of times. I am wondering if these urban clubs are getting better and better? Or are urban clubs also dying out with diminishing returns?

For that matter I am not wondering about urban clubs in shithole towns/cities. I'm wondering how it is in major cities like Miami, Atlanta, NYC, etc.

There’s definitely money to be in urban clubs. People love filming themselves at clubs and throwing money. Also a social media presence brings people in. I have never done well in them, I’m a sensual dancer, I can’t nor do I enjoy doing all that wild stuff while someone rolls up a blunt on my ass. Also I’m totally against being filmed.

It's great stage money IME. Alottttt of drama. I have experienced the most hostility in urban clubs. When I first started dancing I worked in one and boy did I get involved because that's what my reality of a club was.. you just had to hold your own when it's fights left and right. So I had no problem working in them. But that was a different lifetime.

Fast forward years later--- after traveling, moving and becoming more experienced I worked at a huge urban club in a major city and I didn't feel safe. I was MISERABLE outside of work. It was so negative...Like....ugly cry in your bed after work negative. CONSTANT pettiness on a whole new level. Even if it wasn't aimed at me. I don't wanna hear it. I don't do drama and I definitely don't do fights.

Won't EVER go back no matter how easy and fun that stage money was (honestly it was reallyyy good stage money $$$$ like no dances necessary money)
---- I absolutely do not like the filming. It's ridiculous imo.
---- Celebs are sometimes cheap... too many girls in the section... more drama *eyeroll*
---- You are how many instragram followers you are. There was NO fairness in the way things "worked". None. It's not set up for money for everyone so let me tell you when I got a good section I was grabbing allllll of the girls who weren't instafavorites of the club lmaoooo. I did that because I knew how frustating it was for them.
    ----- Broke boys....not gentlemen.
---- Wannabe pimps LOLOLOL (despise pimps UGH don't get me started..clowns)
---- Turn and twerk, turn and twerk, twerk, twerk. Turn, twerk..crazy twerk, make it clap, get back up now bend over make it clap, crazy leg movements, wild wild WILD HEEL CLACK FOR YOUR LIFE GIRL ......... I actually forgot how to move on stage and when dancing in general for a half of a second because it was always turn and twerk. If I was too much like an exotic dancer in a typical club I would make less money. But hey... that's how you got rained on there. A floor guy asked me if this was my first club because of how I danced on solo sets during slow times. HAA thats a first. I told him you must have only worked here...he said yes. He jokingly made fun of the sexy way I walked around the pole and moved on stage and floor work (you knoww.. like all of us dancers move) LOL I understand though...if he doesn't know he doesn't know.

I made some serious money though. I think it depends on what environment you prefer. I don't think they're doing better. I think it's more for show in urban clubs so money is thrown to who is who or you better stand out to make it, you know.

I enjoy the non-urban club hustle. I adore sensual and sexual and fantasy over the crazy show. And I like to have control over my money. And entertaining GENTLEMEN. I can hustle a lot more out of someone in a more traditional gentlemens club.

Also I have been told I am skinny in urban clubs. It was insulting honestly...But also always changed their opinion when I danced. It was annoying because it felt like they were trying to make me feel inferior(and it didn't work lol) I am big booty and breast implants anywhere else... so I'm skinny here huh? ya sure whatever you say watch this. lol

I work both urban and predominantly white club. For me, I do good in urban clubs because I tend to talk proper and not really “hood”-they like that. There is drama at all clubs, but I am grateful that I never have got into any drama. Urban clubs can be good if you find your niche. Sometimes it can be a lot of work, but then sometimes you may come across a baller who literally is showing off to whoever in the club, and now you have $800+. I guess it also depends on your location as well.

That definitely was a thing as well for me when i was at urbans.

To OP: As far as ny areas goes, unless u have a huge following your not seeing much money and even the top earners I’ve seen at urbans werent touching nearly as much as upscale dancers.
