I started dancing a couple of weeks ago. Prior to that I was waitressing at the nicest strip club in the City. I left back in July. When I decided to dance I decided to start off at something smaller so that I could get comfortable and get better I got hired at this hole in the wall amateur spot and I'm not complaining I'm grateful because I can get experience. That's not my style or anything like I'm used to but that's the point anyways I went into work today this was only going to be my second night because I was sick the past week and I got there around 8 when I walked in there were only three guys no big deal but then I noticed there were 20 girls at least and this is a small ass club. I'm all about staying and trying to make $$$$ even when it's slow. I just felt like that ratio was unrealistic just because that club typically only gets regulars and maybe a few visitors they also have a pool table which distracts the man half the time. I decided to leave and come back and work extra hours tomorrow. Now alot of advice I read said stick it out even when it's slow and I would have but there were way too many girls and barely any men.
What would you have done?
I feel like it's a little frustrating for me because I used to work at the nicest club in the city so I know what kind of money can be made and right now I'm working at a hole in the wall spot just until I get comfortable. I guess my next question would be how do you keep a positive attitude working in a place where dances are $10 and sometimes they do them for 5. They all kinds of deal is that in the end kind of screw over that entertainer and give the company more money
