Default Halloween andSEMA in Vegas -skip wed (tonight)?

Question for girls currently working here or have during this week in the past ..I typically skip Wednesdays for work to save energy for the rest of the week. But I am thinking it could be a great night since Halloween is tomorrow.

    Working thurs(halloween)-sun this week
    ....take monday off...
work Tues-Sat next week since SEMA starts on Tues

Would you skip tonight?? I could use an EASY (barely hustled) 700-1k tonight. It's either going to be that kind of night or absolutely not since... it's wednesday and I have a feeling mostly locals/timewasters will flood in.

    Ayeee analysis paralysis!!

I have associations with SEMA (day job)- I say go. It's a huge event and people have to have money to attend most of the SEMA oriented get togethers.

Have fun! edit to add- I should have clarified, a lot of people with money pick Vegas vacations on regular holidays for different reasons (change of pace, or don't want to be at home during a hard year.) Work Wed and every day of SEMA.

Thank you! And thank you for responsing

Yea I'm definitely working every day of SEMA but it doesn't start until next Tuesday. I am on the fence about working tonight. I don't want to spin my wheels and pay 100 to work if it's going to be any wednesday before a busier weekend. I will have one day off between today and next saturday...thats why

You might run into some people who are in town to set up for the show and are getting their partying out of the way early. IMO given what I know about Vegas it's smarter to go in seeking those customers than to miss an entire likely good to great evening.

IF it is truly an issue of needing the off time more than the money, then skip Wednesday and definitely do all the SEMA days.

BTW have fun. There is a ton of money in the automotive/performance vehicle world. I don't want to kiss and tell but trust me, you should network socially in addition to making money in VIP.

I am definitely going to try to network. I don't want to miss any opportunities. Thank you for the insight!

I don't currently work in Vegas but I noticed my earnings decrease substantially if I do not take time off. You are already planning to work sooo many days this week and next week, don't know how you do it. Taking a Wednesday off before an intense week is totally smart.

Yea I worked it out in my head. I know it might have been a silly question but I was seriously stuck in what if land over here. I'm just going to stay in.

    Now.. tomorrow better be good!

Also, any ladies wanting to let me know how last year was ---I'm all ears!

Thursday is definitely going to be busier than just a regular one, but it's going to be rather busy until next Saturday 9th.
If you're worried of to many days on, take Sunday off as well to be sure you are fully ready for SEMA, that's always very busy! It's one of my busiest and most exhausting weeks! (Doing some daytime work at the show and PP's every night.)
