I've been looking at Bellafill. I recall seeing many negative reviews on permanent fillers (feeling clumps or having to surgically get it removed). Unsure if any ladies on here have experience with a longer lasting filler that worked well for them.

What area/s were you planning on having it?
It definitely looks interesting! I had not heard about it before.

Under "Side Effects", the piece I read on it mentioned "lumps/bumps" 2x in the same paragraph. It wasn't due to a mistake or typo that it was listed twice, so it made me wonder how common it is.

One thing I can say about "lumps bumps" is that they look as bad as they sound, at least to me, and I'm a person who has extremely reasonable expectations & didn't expect to look flawless. I had my lumps due to Juvederm, and they did stick out...especially since the rest of your face will be looking flawless, fresh & smooth. They look like an uncommonly large zit, the kind of zit that is underneath the skin, and hasn't come to a "head" yet, or like a fresh, large mosquito bite. That said, I'm sure I noticed it more than other people probably did, as with all facial or bodily imperfections. At least with juvederm, the lump would dissipate after a couple months. Also, you might be able to highlight/conceal it with makeup? I never tried.

Of course, lumps & bumps are only a 'possibility'. And, for me, lumps only happened like once or twice, out of the handful of times I had Juvederm. Juvederm is a filler that is expected to last 1-2 years, btw.

The before/after pics I saw of Bellafil look amazing! I would consider it if I came into the funds to do it in the future.

I did sculptra. I’d recommend it-it last longer.

Bellafil scares me after the bad reviews I’ve seen. It’s made of the same stuff they make medical devices out of. Maybe just start in your temples to try it out and see how it turns out before doing your whole face.

Can anyone recommend what's worked best in lips?

I was looking at the nasolabial folds and slightly in my cheeks. Do you think sculptra is a thumbs up for those areas? And how long did Sculptra last for you?

Probably juvederm in nasofobial, voluma in cheeks but talk to a good doctor, he will recommend what's best.
