So I finished my first night last night and I decided to share some talking points about it. I also thought it'd be awesome to hear any stories from the rest of you guys about your first time as well, vets and baby strippers alike. One of the things I found myself doing before my own first night was reading other people's first time experiences; It helped make me feel better and reminded me that everyone starts somewhere.
Anyhow, so I walk up to the club entrance and show them my dance card and id, letting them know I'm there to audition. They escort me to the dressing room; I get ready and house mama asks me my stage name and walks me out to the floor, and tells me I go on in two songs. My heart jumped into my throat because I'm watching these other girls ahead of me do all these awesome pole tricks and floor work and I'm just like "..oh no." All I could think was I was gonna fall flat on my face tripping over my heels. When the DJ called me he let the audience know I was new, which made me feel a little better. Should I mess up they might write it off as cute newbie stuff. I get up on stage and start doing whatever I can do, gyrating, thrusting and swaying my hips to the beat, all the while thinking "I'm so out of shape!" But I got through that first 3 song set and walked away with a good handful of cash. I didn't do anything fancy and just did my best to look confident and in the end I think the support of the customers knowing I was fresh is what made the difference. I even had quite a few not believe for a second I was new!
I ended up staying for the whole night from 8:30 to 2am, which I was not prepared for, but I survived it and by the end of the night I managed to bring back almost 600! Now my goal is to start taking pole and floor lessons to boost my confidence on stage as well as start working out more so I am not so tired halfway through the night!
So ladies, please share with me your own first night stories, I'd love to hear them!

It's funny they actually LOOK much worse than they feel, they're only a small bit tender. I've been using Arnica lotion and soaking my legs to try and mitigate it some. Luckily, fishnets hides a lot and I'm about to buy some knee pads to save myself the trouble later as well.
