Default Individual semipermanent lashes - OMG I love them. Did it myself!

Didn't really want to go to the expense of getting salon applied individual lashes (plus the time involved) so today I tried the Kiss Lash Couture Luxtensions kit. I had to order it directly from kissusa because all the stores here were out of stock.

Be sure you get that one because it includes the glue and the remover plus a nice pair of tweezers and a spoolie plus plenty of medium (they seem long to me) lashes and short lashes. (also get the black glue because the clear will dry white and look like gross boogers on your lash).

I watched a few youtube vids and some recommended putting the lashes underneath your own lashes. That kinda freaked me out but I tried it. It worked okay but I found it easier to get them straight by gluing them on top.

It was pretty easy to get the hang of. I found it easier to put the glue directly on the end of the lash from the bottle. Let it dry a few seconds then put it on, and make sure you keep wiping glue off your tweezers or the next lash will stick. Careful to get it on the lash not on your skin. You are gluing to your actual lashes. From the reviews I've read the Kiss glue won't pull your real lashes out at all if you use their remover on a Q tip and let it soak in, then gently remove them. Honestly I'll probably leave mine on till they fall out then replace them as they drop.

After putting a few on I got the rest on with one try. I put the longer lashes on at the outer eye and switched to the shorter past my pupil.

I LOVE them! I feel so glamorous without even any makeup on. They look more natural than any other lashes I've tried so far. I will update on how long they stay on (10 days to 2 weeks seem to be average from what I read). Will be so nice to wake up feeling pretty.

The thing I like about them best so far is that they are so light and since they are attached to the actual lash and not the skin I cannot feel them at all!

I have some in my drawer, from Ardell, but I gave up after one try, because i couldn't apply them straight. I should give it another try, because now I am a master at applying regular false lashes. Thanks for reminding me!

So far washing my face hasnt affected them, but they do tend to mess up while sleeping. I got a sleep mask with a little hollow in it so that it doesn't actually touch the lashes and that helps.

I've tried several brands and types since posting. The individual professional lashes I couldnt master (probably because my real lashes are so tiny).

I have a new favorite right now, also by Kiss, Falsecara. They are lighter and prettier and the glue holds up better. I have been using a brush from some Duo adhesive with it because I don't like applying the glue with the mascara wand it comes with. I cleaned off the brush and I just dip it into the Bond side of the glue container.

So far they last about 5 days (would probably last longer if my lashes weren't so short and tiny).
