Default 28 and wondering if I could dance being a little thicker (Denver ladies??)

I'm in Denver and have a background in dance and cocktail waitressing but lately feel like the independent contractor life suits me better. I have tattoos so I def will plan to go to a more entry level club.

    Thoughts?? Currently 5'5" 128 lbs.

    Midtier places to try:

Platinum 84: Auditions are done by doing a contest. If you have dancing experience that’s a good thing, because then you might win money too. It happens every Wednesday, wear two pairs of dancer underwear, and also a skirt or dress or robe covering your butt (it will be taken off but it’s required for both auditioning and working)

PT Showclub: idk much, but customer review sites imply some girls do a lot, so maintain strong boundaries. I’ve heard there’s money there and the club is huge on the inside.

PT Centerfolds: Tiny juice bar type of club. If you audition, I recommend avoiding Tuesday or Wednesday. There is an asshole manager from what I’ve gathered.

Could also do dives. If you’re okay with Mexican customers who can sometimes get handsy, I can personally vouch for Players not being a bad option because dances sell so easy. But I’d probably go there as a backup after everywhere else. Not sure about other options.

Just try and see. I see no problem in being older, it’s not like you’re 60+ (and I think even then it’s possible if you’re not being paid to get off the stage). Weight doesn’t seem to be an issue either unless it’s at the wrong areas.

^ I recommended midtier places because a thin body type is a huge deal in Denver upscale clubs. By all means go for Diamond, LaBo, and Shotguns, but I recommend trying to show up as a customer first and compare yourself to the girls working there. It kinda took me aback the first time I saw that, despite the warnings online I already heard. Most places not Denver care more about stomach fat being under control than anything else, but it’s different there.

I did see tats in those clubs, but I would recommend if you want to apply—to lose enough weight so that you’re still in the healthy range on your BMI, but the low end of that. If that’s not good enough, I probably wouldn’t worry about it as it’s not worth sacrificing health for.

I encourage the OP to let us know where you end up at. Good luck

Thank you guys! I'm going to start with Platinum 84 this week and then Shotguns. I think the vibe at Shotguns fits me but I have a friend at 84 so that might be nice too.
