    Default Preventatives

Corona is the hot topic right now. What are you girls doing to strengthen immunity? Aside from washing hands and hand sanitizing. Lets share tips.

I was doing warm lemon water on an empty stomach first thing in the morning, adding chlorella a few times a week. Then a simple tumeric latte. Breakfast. Noon(well stripper noon), spinach, fruit, plain yogurt smoothie. Handful of nuts. Then dinner. My vitamins.

The week I stopped doing that, I caught a brutal cold last month. Slept it off for 2 weeks and beat it off holistically with herbs, teas, fruit, and heavily herbed veggie stews. Water, coconut water, organic pineapple juice for it's bromelain(suppose to be the best juice to drink when sick).

Oh yes, I have liquid zinc. I read that if you start feeling symptoms of illness, take 2 droppers right away and it should stop it from progressing.

I eat tons of garlic in soups as well as orange juice. Im also washing my hands for at least a min before rinsing everytime I return home from being out. I also try to avoid being close to people in stores if I even go anywhere. I saw some guy coughing without covering his mouth yesterday & it pissed me off, luckily he was well over 6 ft away from me so I went the other direction.

Another tip, please don't hoard things from stores! wipe down surfaces from time to time if you come & go alot.
I'm also trying to grocery shop & make my meals at home instead of eating out bc I'm literally freaked out I'm gonna get sick from passing food someone else has touched.

Catsclaw has been a life saver for me and my family and my animals when we get sick. My husband has avoided pneumonia the past few years after getting it yearly for almost a decade. I have mostly avoided sinus infections the past few years too. I also fostered a dog who had parvo and she was only sick for a week. It's great stuff. Also safe for birds and cats.

Additionally I'm taking bilberry which has some antiviral properties.

For people with chronic sinus issues- steaming (hot showers, sauna, etc.) Helps loosen phlegm, eases breathing. Also- reducing dairy products in diet.

For people with issues with re-occurring "walking pneumonia"- dressing warmly (even when it's warm outside.) Socks on feet, long johns, blankets at home.

If you have pets that stay indoors- do your laundry often. Dogs and cats can track filth into the house without it being readily visible.

For people with re-occurring tonsil issues, strep throat, dental issues that cause inflammation- Lysterine, both gargling it and using it to clean gums.

Dr. Oz provided this coronavirus survival guide:

Wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds and use hand sanitizer with at least 60 percent alcohol.
Disinfect surfaces by using disinfectant sprays instead of wipes, which can spread germs from one surface to another. It is advised to let the surface remain wet for three minutes prior to drying.
Improve your air quality by using a humidifier because viruses dislike humid air.
When you are on an airplane, sit next to the window: “It’s better for you because that germ zone is that little limited area,” which includes the row before and after you, he noted. “The air that comes in from outside is actually pretty clean."
Meditate because that can support your immune system.
Avoid handshakes. Dr. Oz said handshaking transfers 10 times more germs than fist-bumping, but he also discouraged fist-bumping. “A fist bump passes one-tenth the germs as a firm handshake,”
    Eliminate face touching.
It is encouraged to have a two-week supply of essential items, including freezer-friendly food items and non-perishable foods, medications and household supplies, including toilet paper, soap and detergent.
Eat foods and take vitamins that support the immune system. Eating leafy greens and fruits high in vitamins like citruses, blackberries, and kiwi provide your body with essential vitamins and minerals.
Get the flu shot to avoid confusing seasonal flu with COVID-19.
If you are sick, take 80 milligrams of zinc daily, 250 milligrams of vitamin C twice daily, 250 milligrams of beta-glucan daily and take elderberry syrup or lozenges four times a day for five days .

He went on to say that he doesn't believe self-quarantines are effective.
"Do you know what works? Social distancing". "Me sitting at arm's length from you. Not shaking hands.”

He added, “I think we’re causing more harm to each other with the anxiety of the virus than the actual virus.”

Pine Sol or Lemon scented Pine Sol.

Soap and water will be good enough for most people.

I stocked up on tumeric without considering the corona. I was doing it because of my recent cigarette smoking intake and allegedly it helps with cancers. This was in December.

Other than that I take daily showers. Never skip a shower in my opinion.

For the corona specifically, I am stocking up on essentials like toilet paper, ramen noodles, in case we go into quarantine. My state hasn’t been hit so hard YET, but I planned on buying more non perishable foods.

I already do social isolation outside work and college and they both told me to stay at home.

I forgot to add, yoga poses help with draining crud out of the lungs and also giving you an overall full body stretch/body awareness moment. Yoga can be done quietly in small spaces. It's healthier than a cigarette or a drink for de-stressing.

You know, I have a fair amount of bulk powdered tumeric..I want to get some empty camsules to put it in tho.

I eat plain, organic yogurt w/organic blueberries (antioxidant) & yogurt's good for the gut.
Also fresh pineapple, for the enzymes.

I used to have a list of liver cleansing foods, here's some tho:

fresh grapefruit (be careful of the acidity, drink water after)

    pomegranite seeds

    avacado

apples (I personally cant eat the skins tho)

For my sinuses, I use the saline spray more often, & also use my metal face roller

True that, for people with chronic sinusitis, pinching and rolling the skin over the sinuses both soothes and moves some mucous to where it can be expelled.

If you can cut out alcohol, smoking, drugs and cut down on junk food.
Good for immunity: water, fruit and vegetables, whole grains, yoghurt and other food with good bacteria, vitamin, mineral and probiotic supplement.

If you have pets, don't do it with them inside the house. That smoke is too strong for their lungs. Plus, I was told it's best to leave the windows closed for a couple of seconds before opening.

I really recommend not using sage, or at least purchasing it from an indigenous owned store, it's going extinct because of recent trends and corporations over harvesting it, a few herbs can be used to replace it, or essential oil diffusers (again, don't use with pets like you said, those are dangerous for them! And don't support mlm's such as young living or doTerra

Not to mention, their experiment was flawed to begin with; (it's too early for me to use links, but google that article name with "reddit" next to it, /r/occult should be the first result, and a biochemist commented on it)

Coronavirus is a virus anyways, not a bacteria- your best bet for killing viruses is using a 70% solution of alcohol, or household bleach. Information can be found on CDC's website (also can't post links, but this one's pretty easy to find!)

Same. If your nose is sensitive the scent of Bleach can fuck you up.

I also got an upper respiratory infection triggered by going to a Mexican restaurant where they cleaned using what smelled like straight pine sol. Idk it might have been mixed with something like ammonia but that pissed me off like they couldn’t wait till after hours to clean and thus poison themselves. Then again they’re probably immune to inhaling commercial grade cleaning chemicals

I tried to find some Method brand cleaner only to be sadly disappointed it’s sold out at Target. And I’m down to my last drop.

Then I realized I’ll just do what are ancestors did and use some home remedies

These ingredients are supposedly as effective and you might have an easier time finding them

    https://www.ehow.com/how_7701565_hom...t-cleaner.html

    https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/12597475/

*I don’t have Coronavirus nor do I have visitors in my home and I haven’t been venturing out so I’m not overly concerned about not using bleach however if I come in contact with people out in the public/had visitors coming in n out then I’d use a tested brand known specifically to kill the coronavirus
