... I don’t mean to cheer you up even more, but last year there was a typhus epidemic in downtown Los Angeles due to all the trash in the street. Not sure if it’s been cleaned up yet.
I just hope that people learn from their mistakes and that the next generation growing up in this mess has a healthy respect for nature. : )

Taiwan has done an exceptional job of keeping Covid-19 under control.

I only wish our government was as proactive and competent as theirs' is.

New controlled clinical study conducted by doctors in France shows that Hydroxychloroquine cures 100% of coronavirus patients within 6 days of treatment.

Remarkable.

This is just terrible.

We're on lockdown in California and I'm already bored at home lol. I've gotta figure out new ways to entertain myself.

The length will depend almost entirely on community response to the directives.
This is not like the flu or a bad cold, though it is a respiratory infection. For example, the death rate is 10X that for the flu.
No one knows especially, the young, on just how severe it will become for them.
I worry about clubs closiing under orders. Maybe it's time for online eroticism, now that so many have to stay home.
Please, everyone take care of themselves and keep healthy, so we can once again have fun together.
I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.
Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.
NOTE: anything I post here, outside of a direct quote, is my opinion only, which I am entitled to. Take it for what you estimate it is worth.

Governor of Illinois issued a "stay at home" order through April, 7. Illinois has had 5 coronovirus related deaths as of this moment, so...

I keep seeing the aerial shots of all the springbreakers having fun on Florida beaches. I'm not sure what to think.
I start to wonder if I'm overreacting.

You're not. So far, five spring-breakers have tested positive for coronavirus.

In a few weeks a lot of those idiots will be sick and some hospitalized, not to mention the elderly and immune compromised people they infect. Apparently they don't care if they sicken or kill their parents or grandparents. Also there are more young people being put into ICU care than first expected.
We have all been under-reacting. I was stupid enough to still be eating out and socializing a couple weeks ago before I realized how serious it is. Just look at Italy, with so many bodies they had to call in their army to transport them to other areas to bury and cremate. Hospitals in New York are already being overrun and it's nowhere near at it's peak.
If we had handled this right we would not be in this situation.
"Goldman, who is also a nurse, says that Elmhurst Hospital and NYU’s Brooklyn campus are seeing their intensive care units filled with a share of patients under 40 years old they had not anticipated.
“It’s not who we were expecting,” she says.
Over half of all Covid-19 patients in New York are between 18 and 49, the state says."

I'll admit that I underplayed this virus in the beginning. :-/
I was too busy working and doing other stuff, that I was barely catching up on the news.
Two registered veteran nurses told my best friend that it was just a cold and that ppl were blowing this out of proportion. >_<
At least I'm not an asshole spreading shit around. Stay the fuck home.

My cat, Jazz, requires a specific brand of prescription food. If he eats anything else, he could literally die. Apparently, I got the last bag last week because they've been sold out ever since. There's a notice now about long delays, etc. I do have some stored away, but it might not last.
While other people were rushing for toilet paper, some had better priorities.
