Default Films to watch now that the end of the world is nigh.....kidding!

Just watched 'I think we're alone now'

I have loved Peter Dinklage since 'The Station Agent'

I would actually suggest watching the two back to back, as the character in this film is basically the one in the first film, 20 years later after the apocalypse

The best part of both films is that neither has anything to do with his stature and allow you to appreciate that he is a truly great actor, and both have just one reference to it, because it would be distracting to the viewer if nobody in the film noticed

If you have access to Turner Classic Movies channel, there are a lot of good vintage films. Watched A Streetcar Named Desire the other night. Even though it is pretty dated now, you can see why Brando made such an impact. Even though Vivien Leigh gets all the good lines, when he is on the screen, there is no one else there

Just not 12 Monkeys. It's one of my favorite movies, actually. Just...not now

I'm trying old movies, comedies, tho Scarlett Pimpernel, it takes place during the Terror around 1792, when many titled ppl lost their heads.

It has a happy ending tho, at least for the main characters.

This's why I want select scenes from movies, I don't want to see the depressing parts..

I'm going to watch Taxi Driver tho.

"Bird Box" with Sandra Bullock, on Netflix

When a mysterious force decimates the population, only one thing is certain -- if you see it, you die. The survivors must now avoid coming face to face with an entity that takes the form of their worst fears. Searching for hope and a new beginning, a woman and her children embark on a dangerous journey through the woods and down a river to find the one place that may offer sanctuary. To make it, they'll have to cover their eyes from the evil that chases them -- and complete the trip blindfolded.

For Pandemic type movies I think the movie is good. Sandra Bullock is one of my favorite actresses, so I think she can make an average script better by her acting. Try it out

The last couple of days, I have been seeking out Pandemic movies. Most of these movies are fantasy, but it helps to see the struggles and victories that ordinary people go thru in these movies, and to help process things in a world full of uncertainty right now.
