    Default stalker?

A few weeks ago.... I was on the phone with this guy who works on my car. We were discussing my car issues and he stopped me mid sentence. " It sounds like you're in Food Lion." I was so I laughed and asked how can it sound like Im in Food Lion? He didn't answer me and said I thought you lived in ______ neighborhood. I said no I dont live there. He giggled and said I know. A few days ago I was erasing some pics in my phone and accidently swiped up on a video I sent him of my car and when I did it had a time stamp and location. So I'm guessing thats where he got his information. My question is I don't have locations turned on my phone except for certain apps when open. How did this happen and how do I turn it off?

To be honest, I don’t know about the technical part as to how that happened but that is really weird. Future I would just get a burner number you can get text free phone apps and send everything through there. He could’ve done a reverse search on your phone number that’s the only thing I can think of. I have a iPhone and it takes photos and will tell you what location you’re at but I’ve never had anybody figure out where I’m at from the location of a photo alone. I would play it cool though because he does have your car now and he can mess it up if he wants to get angry. I would play it off and then if the weirdness continues and you really feel like you need to make a police report then do that. I’d look at your phone type and see if you can contact somebody from the company who can explain how that could’ve happened. Hope this works out for you.

You have to go in your camera settings and turn off geolocation
