Default Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginberg DIES

I am beside myself. This is a loss for the nation, it's a loss for Women. It is a loss for everyone! I think the country should pause and mourn this pioneering life. I am beside myself.

I am ashamed of myself now because i really only learned about her through the movie "On the matter of sex." Ashamed. She was up there for so long, and i didn't know anything about her!

She was a SOLDIER for Women's rights, and she did it by defending MEN (Whom didn't even realize that there was sexism directed against them, as well). It was an honor to have shared the planet with her for a while. Her loss is terrible.

Men can't cry, men can't show any weakness no matter what the circumstance. That's all sexism. We have it too. They insist on this because you're a fucking guy. I don't know what sexism is for a Woman, but i imagine it's the same, just maybe a bit different. But largely the same.

Mourn tonight, get back into the fight tomorrow. It's what she would have wanted.
This too shall pass. It might pass like a kidney stone. But it will pass.

Pardon me, Ladies, it's not "On the matter of sex," it's "On the BASIS of sex." Just wanted to correct myself.

    Men can cry.

Yes it's a devastating loss. Gravitas is not popular in American culture anymore, I'm afraid.

If a Man cries and it's not his mom dying or something, he's looked at as a pussy. Yes, Men have the capability to cry, but it's frowned upon. That's sexism. Plain and simple.

The only way things change is when people like us push back against sexism. Dare I say Ruth would be proud of is ladies for not believing the bullshit society tries to brainwash us to make us feel like whores.

I cried last night. Cried hard. Phatgirldynomite is right she would want us to keep fighting. She fought so hard to stay alive for us. She can go in peace. Sheís in a better place now.

& Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a warrior. A true American, and an angel. Now she's literally an angel.

This is going to be a huge political fight. Trump is going to try and nominate another nut, and the Democrats will go fucking crazy. But several Republicans are in the fight for their careers, so they may stand in the way. Hopefully, they will leave it to Biden to select her replacement. Or just expand the court to 11 Justices.

that’s a really good movie. I wonder if RBG’s passing will trigger a female awakening. We need another awakening.

Justice Ginsburg is the only person I'll probably ever mourn without personally knowing.
    Now he said it a third time, and Ona drew a deep breath;

To my eternal shame, i did't even know she was Jewish. I'm kicking myself right now.

They're putting her in state at the Capital as i type. This is so sad.

Right now her Rabbi is singing, i'm dying, here. Ruth did so much for us...

She was 87, and when you get to an age like that, sooner or later you crap out and die. But it sure as fuck doesn't make it any easier.

Women get out there and FIGHT. She would want you to.

Neither did RBG ! Barret is following the Ginsberg Rule: " No hints , no previews . "

According to Ginsberg the only legitimate grounds of inquiry are competence and integrity.

Btw, I am one of a few more conservative types who was glad Bork was voted down. He lost me when he said the 9th Amendment was an "inkblot"; that "nobody knows what it means " when to me, and most everyone else, its language is very clear. That the mere delineation or mention of certain rights in the first 8 Amendments does not mean that there are not other rights retained by the people and the states. Bork was terrified that it could be construed as containing , inter alia , a right to privacy.
The other thing was when he was asked why he wanted to serve on the SCOTUS he said it would be an "intellectual feast ". Almost an academic exercise too good to pass up as opposed to an opportunity for public service.

As far as the second amendment goes, I value it. I just think that while they can't take it from you, You can surrender it by your actions. rob a bank, bye bye guns. Shoot somebody in a crime, bye bye guns. Or if you're crazy, get those guns the fuck out of your house until you're not crazy anymore.

I just think the Second Amendment should be situational. Based on the individual. Most people are perfectly safe with guns. And the whole point is about protecting yourself, there are a LOT of folks I don't mind having guns. Just not a Criminal or a Nutjob.

When seconds count , the police will be there in minutes. If you're lucky and they respond at all.

It takes the police like ten minutes. A lot can happen ten minutes. I'd rather just shoot the guy myself immediately. Call it a day. Just wait for him to get inside your house. Then there is nothing they can do to you.
