    Not always. A tortoise, sure. They won’t develop a loyalty to you which a dog will. I think it’s for the better that people mostly outlive their dogs.

    One of my favorite things in life is the tortoise enclosure at the zoo. Just sharing. Nature is full of wonderful things.

    I follow an Instagram account called thenotortoisebig, and the owner has done just that.

    I don't have an actual will, though, but I think my cats should be pretty well set should I die tomorrow.
