    Search Fat transfer?

I’ve always wanted just a little bit more volume up top - not enough to want to go through implant surgery. I’ve got some ‘rona weight around the tummy now, so I’ve been thinking about trying a fat transfer.

Thought I’d ask for input on what others’ experiences have been. Does this procedure require being knocked out? I’ve heard it takes months to get the final results - but I figure over winter is a good time for that. What was your recovery time? Google has also returned some results about some pump called “Brava” in conjunction with the procedure, but it seems to be outdated technology. Anyone know about this?

    Any input / advice appreciated!

What I've heard the fat can get absorbed by the body so the enhancement diminishes over time. Also, this procedure does not give the lift as implants does, and it sags more. I think it's more expensive as well.
On the other hand it's more natural and scars are minor, but if you're worried about the appearance, I'd get a pair of silicone implants!

I had a consultation from the surgeon who's going to be doing my lift and implants in January.

He said fat transfer is suitable for smaller adjustments and often gets reabsorbed. It's still under general anesthetic but healing is shorter and scaring very minimal.

Just get small implants. Then you're guaranteed the volume you want. If your stomach is a concern, get lipo at the same time. With fat transfer, you never know exactly what you're going to get for the end result.

Thanks for the input! I’m not wanting implants at all, but it’s good to know that this particular procedure may have to be done more than once. If anyone out there has had it done please let us know!

Ive had it done. Fat transfer is great! Implants often get infected and look very fake.

Implants don't get infected, but you can get an infection from the surgery, as you can with all surgeries. A correctly performed implant surgery doesn't have any higher risk of getting infected than any other surgeries.

Yeah I had it done to help make implants look more natural, and it got mostly reabsorbed within a year or 18 months I'd say. It does looks really good and natural/softer while it lasts though. I think everyones body is different and it lasts longer in some ppl.

Have you experimented with any supplements? I would definitely give magnesium, Omega 3, Vitamin D, and B12 & B9 a try. All these combined did wonders for me. I'm no longer depressed or anxious, I was in a completely different place last year.

Well, that's not what my surgeon Dr.Mendieta said. I also hate how they look. You can see the outline of the impant.

I heard FT is only 60% - 80% successful, this's been a couple years ago tho.

I think they're talking specifically about boobs... but I would like to know why the boob fat transfer gets reabsorbed and the bbl supposedly doesn't..

I had 2 BBL and especially on my hips it didn't last... I really wonder why that happened to me and not other girls.

Just thinking out loud but maybe it just varies based on where a person holds their fat? You would need to really see a person through the years to determine that. I know that I don’t store fat in my tits, everytime I am in peak shape I have no fat there, because I know that I don’t think I would be a good candidate for fat transfer in my boobs, my ass is different. I have heard and seen that the best bbls were on people who already had decent amount of fat there(not necessarily size) there is this porn star who’s name I am blanking on that got an incredible fat transfer boob job, but hers were already full to begin with

I think it really varies too, like with anything else. It's my understanding that how much of the transferred fat remains has to do with the surgeon's technique and also your body. Like fillers on me vanish within days, some people get filler and it actually lasts for over a year. Botox stopped working on me(for sweat) within a month.

Same, all my fat is in my lower body so I think a transfer to my ass could do well, but my upper body is always a lot leaner and I naturally was flat-chested so I don't think a fat transfer there would last. It's kind of like the reverse lipo; if you're already skinny and just want a little problem area removed it will probably work, but when people have a ton of fat removed and are basically using it for weight loss it's more likely that the fat will come back.

I think it's because that's not a natural place for the fat to be, when girls naturally have wide hips/hourglass body it's because of their bone structure. Their pelvis is what makes their hips wide, not fat. I've seen another girl who had it placed in their hips and it went away.
