I have to say I understand the airline, your child could be placed in the seat next to her. If she flies as much as she says, she should also be able to dress properly.
Work hard in silence and let success make the noise

^Who gets to decide what is dressing 'properly' though? It seems like it was a personal decision on the part of the flight attendant/s on that flight. I could understand it more if the airline has a pre-existing policy on inappropriate attire or something.

"“I’m an A list member for SWA and have a credit card with the airline and I have perks that allow any person traveling with me to fly free because of my high status with the airline,"
With an attitude like that. . .
^ Well she's probably pissed off. Who can blame her.

This sort of thing is a fairly regular occurrence. I remember reading about a 15 y/o who was threatened with being removed from a flight for wearing leggings. Don’t remember which airline.

Greater yet, the pain in little drawings
I could not remain in that room

COB: I don't know of the leggings case, but it seems to me Ive heard of a few cases of women wearing mundane things & being hassled

I'm more impressed there are women who choose to fly in uncomfortable clothes in tight seating positions for 5+ hours. I go on the plane with sweats. It's already very cramped and screws my scoliosis pain up even more trying to sleep on the plane.

There is a time and place for everything. Traveling is not the time, nor the place to flaunt it excessively. I love short skirts and dresses. But, I don't wear them to work. I love crop tops, but I don't wear them to my daughter's track and cross country meets. I love tiny thong bikinis. I do wear those to the beach and my own pool. Not so much my daughter's friend's home pool.
