God what a shitty movie. This is terrible! I can't believe James Cameron had anything to do with this!

God this is such a terrible movie, but nothing else is on but shit on about the Monster in the White House, and I'm completely tired of that. But I'm laughing at this movie, it's so fucking bad.

GOD that was such a bad movie. It's so easy to make a terrible Science Fiction film. It's one thing if it's an action film dressed up like Science fiction (Which they make all the time, but that's an Action film, not Science Fiction), that's, I guess, OK, but come on! Can't you make any real Science Fiction? I do it all the time! But I rarely get to watch any of it.

Science Fiction is supposed to blow your mind. This movie didn't even come close. Not even a stones throw. The most recent Science Fiction movie that attempted to do that was Arrival, IF YOU COULD STAY AWAKE THROUGH IT. That movie is fucking boring! It's a Horse tranquilizer. There's been a few, Contact, E.T., etc. And they were good. I have not seen Ad Astra yet, who knows.
Solaris, the one with George Cloony, that one will put you to sleep fast. Literally the most boring I've ever seen, not only that, the ending is literally incomprehensible. If you need a nap, put that in. You'll be out in half an hour. It took me DAYS to get through that movie. I kept falling asleep. I never intend on watching it again, and that's unusual for me.
The problem with this is that that's what people believe Science Fiction is. It is not. Read some of my stuff, it ain't like that.

I actually quite enjoyed Dark Fate, it was by far the best effort since T2:Judgment Day which is just one the best films ever IMO. Dark Fate went too far with special effects and really there is only so many times you can regurgitate the same idea and much as I love Arnie, he was awesome in T2 but it doesn't really work 30 years later.
If you want a cure for insomnia, try Ad Astra. My God was that SLOW, even the way he was speaking. But it looked so gorgeous in places I kept going. I won't be watching it again.
Well, it was better than T3, Salvation, or Genysys, I'll give you that, but that's not a very high bar, to say the least. The first two are the only ones that count, if you ask me.
