    Reminds me of this

Written on the walls at the house of sorrow
You can find the names of those who burned
Greater yet, the pain in little drawings
I could not remain in that room

I think most survival experts would say to sacrifice your animal to save any human ( including you ! ) but how many could really do it ? I'd probably fight an animal to save my dog too. This is why I often carry weapons as I'm in the forest and wilderness areas a lot. The prep I do isn't just for me. My dog is small ( just 8 pounds ) and wouldn't help too much in any fight.

Also I have to say .
This dude. Dog dad. Loyal AF . No ring it appears . Lol .
Hmmmmm. I'd date or fuck him. If he is single this is like the best personal ad ever.

It would be hard to just stand there and watch your pet die for sure. Living with that guilt you didn't do anything. Totally know I'd do something. Remember a raccoon and her babies in the background having a standoff with my cat as a teen. I grabbed a broom and started trying to swat the raccoon with the broom ( I was screaming scared while I did it LOLL) to go away while it was growling at me and getting aggressive. The things we do when we love something or someone *eye roll* LOL.

    He’s a good one.

This is why I don’t have pets.

I’ll be damned if I risk my life for an animal.

Idk. Maybe my mind will change if I had a pet but for now I’d be more likely to rescue a baby trapped by a bear than a dog trapped by a bear
