Mitch McConnell is being very stingy with the taxpayers' money. I don't really need a stimulus check, and I don't care if I don't get one, but I am concerned for the millions of Americans who have been hurt financially by this pandemic, and are just getting by, or are not getting by.

I see it showing as pending in my bank account since yesterday. It's disappointing that it's not the alleged $2k. This $600 doesn't even cover half my rent.

The message in my bank app's inbox (sent on Dec. 31) is implying that I could expect to see mine via direct deposit on Monday. So we'll see. I'm also confused over the whole getting an additional $600 for dependents "under 17" thing." I hate that kind of wording. My son IS 17, so I guess we just missed out on that additional $600? Lol. If we ARE getting it, then why not just say "17 and under..."

Got mine on the 4th via direct deposit. SO’s doesn’t even show as pending with the irs tool... he got a paper check for the first one.

Keep our fingers crossed they increase it to $2k now. That’s an actual stimulus. $600 is like ok, guess I’ll just save it... I don’t feel comfortable spending much of it frivolously, ya know?

Bernie Sanders said the first order of business should be to pass a covid-19 relief bill that includes a $2,000 stimulus. I think it will pass, since even a lot of Republicans were in favor of it. The only thing preventing it was, McConnell refused to allow a vote on it.

That 1400 is coming. Biden and co. are planning to send it out as early as Feb 1st.

I finally got mine, it was sent to turbo tax, they had to send it to me. I file w them all the time, idk how that even happens...

I received a pro-rated amount which is stupid because I do not qualify. I'm afraid someone else's was deposited into my account by mistake.

They said it’s been mailed. Hopefully by the end of this week. So frustrating.

So they’re saying some people will have to claim the credit on their taxes... if your Get My Payment status doesn’t show a date by the 15th, you have to get it via the credit.

I read that lots of people had theirs bounced back if they used TurboTax or HR Block as well...
