I've had my nose pierced for a couple of years, and finally decided to try a ring instead of a stud a few months ago. The first time I tried, it went in just fine after a few seconds. I even took it out and put it back in several times just to make sure I had the hang of it. Absolutely no issues.
I took it out a few days later, but ever since then CANNOT get a ring back in. I will literally stand in the front of the mirror for 10-20 minutes at a time every day, doing everything I can to get it in, and it won't go. There was ONE time that I randomly went to try and it went in with no effort. But it actually wasn't the one I wanted, so I took that one out and when I went to put in the other one, couldn't get it.
I seriously don't understand what I'm doing wrong or why this is so difficult. I'm using the ones where you have to insert from the inside and then twirl it to get to the stopper on the other end. No matter what position I put it in or how I try to feel for the hole, I can't seem to do it without seeing the hole. I feel like a total idiot, because whenever I google it, I don't find anyone else with this issue.
Halp?
