    Default Law question

So I started a lawsuit and part of it is for incorrect pay. Well I went through all my paperwork and have come to the realization I may need to cancel. So when I started working there we agreed that I would be paid 33% which is roughly 19.78 before add ons like sales products. Anyway they "gave me a raise" and I lost my shirt. They were paying me $18.50 the entire time (over a year) and my raise was to $19.50. Am I wrong or what?

Wish, I think you haven't been getting responses because your story is confusing. There are some missing pieces here which maybe you could fill in for us:

    1. If they gave you a $1 an hour raise, how did you lose your shirt?

    2. If they were supposed to be paying you approx. $19.78 per hour but instead were only paying you $18.50, why would you need to cancel because of the incorrect pay piece? Wouldn't they still owe you over $1 per hour for that entire year?

What proof do you have that they agreed to give you a $1 raise? Assuming you have adequate evidence, and it has only been a year, you should still be able to claim it. What does it add up to?
