Lol yeah it also goes without saying a lot of us go through this stage. I've had to take breaks from work and switch clubs (temporarily for the fresh scenery) to help snap out of it.

One of my biggest burnout causes though, was not making a lot of money. Being stuck at my old, shitty club that didn't have many customers (except for weekend nights) and exorbitantly charged us for house fees, VIP rooms and tipouts, I wasn't making an amount I was happy with most of the time and it had me stuck in a sort of vicious cycle. One day I left with $2 after tipout & working 10 hours and just said.... FUCK THIS!! A friend helped me audition at her club 2 hours away & I used money I made there to move to that area. Burnout for me happens way less often now that I'm not struggling to pay bills after showing my naked body. If I have a bad night here, I still remind myself that was my good/decent night at the other place.

Although, this is just my experience, if you are making enough money/have the job flexibility to support your needs, then who cares what I'm saying or if you're not making as much. I'm aware that moving cities or trying a new club isn't feasible for a lot of people, and I'm lucky to not have kids or any other obligations to be able to do that. I'm just sharing what got me personally out of my rough time & what changed my perspective on this industry.

It's a rough town in particular with the large percentage being tourists, regulars can only be locals and that is ultimately what makes a dancer's life easier.

The hustle is everywhere though in the strip, all genders, vanilla work and sex work. I still like it though and agree on most points. The city is recovering even without the convention circuit, resort weekend occupancy is almost completely booked, but weekday is slow.

It was too much like a nightclub with dancers in the background. Which goes back to what I was saying before of how things evolve. Like all those “big clubs” could get rid of the dancers and they would still make a ton of money as a brand. At sapphire, I remember feeling like I wasn’t even working at a strip club
It really depends on what you mean though, could they transition to a nightclub and compete? maybe, but its location is still industrial like, which is ok for other cities but not Vegas since they are competing with resort nightclubs. In the end the old axiom holds true wherever women go its where the money is made, if you remove the dancers you would have to seriously compete for women customers (and sapphires gets a lot, but not enough) since that is what men will follow.

^ lol you are putting me on the spot, here are the latest rules

Sin City strip clubs that went dark when Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak ordered casinos, clubs and nonessential businesses closed in March 2020 will be able to open May 1 at 80% of fire code capacity under strict social distancing guidelines.

The rules will allow strip club entertainers to get closer than 3 feet (0.9 meters) to patrons if the entertainer received at least a first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days earlier, according to county rules, or if the dancer tests negative in a weekly COVID-19 test.
The governor has set a June 1 date for lifting essentially all state restrictions except a requirement for people to wear face coverings.
