Funny story, I wasn't aware that the two clubs were competitors. My dancing name has always been sapphire, but the manager downtown has now forced me to change it after so long. Apparently the management at flash dancers really doesn't like them that much that they can't have anyone has that as their name.

Seems like most clubs are open now. My home club (Flash) has reopened both day and night as of yesterday. Good luck to everyone.

That's really funny. They aren't really competitors but I'm sure Flash is bitter and angry that Sapphire outbid them for the Times Square location when their lease ran out. That was their home forever.

Change your name to Flash and get a job at sapphire times square. lol

I miss 60! I’m going to try to get back up there in a month or so... I have a good feeling about what things are going to look like once vaccinations are more widespread and people are eager to come out

Not to threadjack but where do you gals stay for cheap or budget places in relatively safe areas when you have a car? Thanks I'm a cam/pso girl but I plan on working there doing that.

Tribeca location has been incredible the past few weeks. NY feels alive again. Clients of mine have started to return to the office as well.

Hey ! Does anyone here know clubs in NYC that I would be able to work at? I’m from the UK and thinking to visit the US for a couple weeks for dancing. But there’s the issue with documentation / working visa. If anyone knows NYC clubs that don’t ask for all that would love if you can let me know. If not no worries ! Thanks xx

Hey girly, wanted to ask you - I live in NYC and am planing to start dancing within the next couple of months; is NYC really not poppin anymore? If so, do you have any recommendations for clubs/areas nearby that are? Thanks so much! ��

NYC is always and will be the best city to dance in. It’s always popping if you know how to make money. There are few places anywhere in the world where you have consistent “whales” blowing stupid money regularly. IMO

Hey there! I was wondering - what do girls wear on stage? Dresses on stage just like on the floor or can you wear something other than a dress on stage? Haven’t been able to find any info on this and would so appreciate a reply! 💕

Mostly dresses but some of the clubs have gotten rid of their strict dresses only dress code so you may be able to wear almost whatever you want. I still suggest you bring a dress just in case. Some clubs still want short dresses at least. I think the long gowns only days are over though! Thank god.

I’m too short to wear a gown so thank goodness those days are over because I’d surely bust my ass LOL! Short dresses I have no problem with - is it okay if they’re sheer/mesh? also, are the clubs you’re referring to that have done away with the strictly dresses code sapphire and flash dancers (all locations?)
