    Question Gastric Reduction Surgery

How reliable is stomach reduction surgery ..? After the surgery, how long is the recovery..? Is there a risk of dying in this operation?.? I want to have stomach reduction surgery because of my excess weight. But I have fears about this, can people who have previously had surgery help me...?

Why don't you try the intermittent fasting method first? It's gonna shrink your stomach naturally and you will lose weight on a safer way, rather than going in a surgery.
Here's a good and very motivating reddit thread where people post their progress daily. I've seen some mind blowing transformations in there, so it's worth to have it in your bookmarks: https://www.reddit.com/r/intermittentfasting/

My aunt has a stomach shriking surgery and 1 year later, she gained back all the weight, because she didn't developed any eating discipline. That's why, intermittent fasting is more effective, because you teach yourself some healthy patterns and in time, it's healthier and more beneficial. And cheaper, since you won't pay for surgery. You can keep the money to do any other kind of beauty plastic surgery you'd like (for example, if you have excess skin and want to get rid of it, or you want some new boobies, etc).

A little distressed, you say. I've done Sports before , dieted, but I couldn't lose weight. I said I'd be the last to do a stomach reduction. But now I'm a little scared. There are a lot of people who have had problems after surgery.
