Default Sitting on customerís laps: yes or no?

I am a baby dancer, so still learning the hustle. A veteran dancer told me that flirting while sitting on a guyís lap is more likely to help close a sale. Iíve noticed several dancers at my club that do this. However, a different veteran dancer told me never to sit on a customerís lap because thatís like giving them a free dance. Iíd like to get some opinions on this. When you are first flirting with a customer/trying to close a sale do you sit on his lap, or no? Iím veering towards that feels like a free dance, but I do notice lots of girls doing it. For reference I am in Texas. ❤️

Both vets are right. For me, it's a yes and no. Personally, I do it but it's rare l, not ultra rare though. I sit on the guy's lap if he looks like an easy sell or a newly recurring customer that I'm trying to groom to be my regular.

If other people in the club are doing it, then sure. I’ve sat in laps before. I’d also say the way the seats are set up may have an effect. Nowadays I prefer sitting next to them so they can see my face and body better. For a little extra contact, if I think it’s a good idea to do that, will rub his outer legs a little. Plus the leaning forward to do that makes the tits more visible and then I’m looking up at him, which is something some like.

Because you’re from Texas, I figure I should mention something more. As soon as he puts his hand on you, ESPECIALLY if it’s tits or ass, close the sale. I’ve said something like “oh why am I talking you’re ready now, let’s GO!” (I think less words than that usually but it’s something like that I’m trying to communicate)

It’s hit or miss on whether they will go with you right then, but the ones who don’t just want to cop a free feel anyways, so just move on to the next guy.But on the other hand, some have gotten lots of dances too after that.

I never sit on laps and when I’ve been asked to they always ended up being cheap guys I agree w the free lap dance opinion!

No it’s extremely rare that I’d do it.

I might put my legs across his lap for a little teaser but never my butt n crotch ln his crotch area because imo that’s doing too much for free for a dude who might not pay you for anything

I don't because too many dudes use it as an excuse to stroke your legs, pat your ass, etc.

I usually pull my chair real close and facing into him to kind of block his view of the stage so he's not distracted. I may drape a leg over his knees or something, or put my arm across the back of his chair.

I try not to. They be trying to paw all over you when you do that. Sometimes if the club is packed though, there's nowhere else to sit... I hate it though and I NEVER do it at the explicit request of the customer.

Yeah, i never did. I also found the concept really creepy, like he's my father and I'm a little kid or something. I would in dances, of course, but to me that's a boundary thing.

Yeah, don't sit on laps unless you feel comfortable to because he's a regular customer of yours, they're giving you money already or you're really comfortable that he's going to spend money with you and you don't mind being touched by him.

There's some guys that it would really creep me out if I was touched by them, and I don't even approach them, because it would ruin my night.

No. For them to have my ass on them in any capacity, to be able to smell my perfume, feel my soft skin, stare at my cleavage right in front of his eyes, or to have any kind of close proximity with me is a privilege that costs. That's what lap dances are for. I might touch their knee, play footsie with them or maybe rub my leg against there's for a moment but I'm not sitting on someone's lap for free. If they're a "pay to sit and talk" guy, fine.
