What are your thoughts on older women stripping? Assuming they are still in decent shape etc..Do you think it can be done?

Define "older women". I work at a club and we have a 52 yo. She has some plastic surgery done which probably helps but she still looks great and carries herself. I have to hope I can still be in good enough shape if I continue to do this. I'm already saving for a boob job and plan to save more $ for other things down the road need be.

I think a more conscious view is that women are sexual beings through out life. A more unconscious and patriarchal view is that only young women “should” dance. From a capitalist perspective, if she’s making money and is sexy it shouldn’t matter what anyone else thinks.
Many women internalize the patriarchy, and they will project their unconscious programming onto you (inside and outside of the club.) It does hurt, but when you become more conscious of it you learn to not take it on- it’s just their programming.
I wish the mature dancers would have warned me how awful people can be to older dancers. If people don’t like you, that’s the first thing go after…LOL. You think the stigma of being a stripper is bad. Try being a mature stripper. Most my customers are awesome and love me because I’m a mature dancer. Most the hate comes from family and friends-not the people actually paying my bills. As they say, if you ain’t feeding me or fucking me your opinion doesn’t matter. I made 2K my first week back after the pandemic. So my haters can suck a big fat dick.

Focus more on what you want than on what you don’t want
It looks like you’re a long standing member on this site. If you don’t mind me asking, how along ago did you dance and when?
If you’re considering going back to the club to try it out, go for it. Nearly everyone older complains it’s not what it used to be, but it won’t be your looks it will be just evolving times. Feel free to update with whatever you decide to do![]()

^ Yeah , I'd say the same. Go back and try it.
Older isn't " 40 " ( imo ) ha but much more than that !![]()

Well, recently, Sports Illustrated mag used a 57 yr old on their cover..

I agree if your making $ in a clean way and look good why quit?
I was 46 when the pandemic shut down my club. But the thing is, after 10 years at the same club, it was time to go. It became very toxic in there and the customers got really predator-like and I think it was just time for me to go. Every time I arrived at work I'd feel a sense of dread and would have to smoke a few bowls before heading in. Not good.
I danced for 15 years so yes, I was burned out and wanting to switch gears and focus more on my vocational work.
I did do well through my 40s money-wise though. Still did pole tricks. Just emotionally I was done.
Glad I danced for all that time. Until the very last year, which went downhill, it never felt like work to me.

^^^you weren’t in alignment with it anymore and that’s okay. I think you should quit when you don’t feel in alignment with it anymore. But don’t let social pressure be the only reason

Exactly. It just felt like it was time to do other things.

I really don't consider youth to be an enviable commodity.

Most top earners are a bit older than people think. Since street smarts are essential to make it in the industry, the "old soul" archetype personality can hang in there and earn.
My thought is, when the stresses of the adult industry age you inside, that's where you're "too old" for it.
So do u guys say your younger when asked? I do, I’m always about 5 years younger than what I am is what I say anyways… I hate this question now
^^ It depends. I'd have to read the customer first.
I remember sitting with this guy and I had this feeling that I should tell him that I was 35 instead of 45, so I did. His response? "Oh, it's a good thing that you're not 40. After you turn 40, you don't get wet down there. I know this because my wife doesn't get wet anymore, and she's 40. "
I sat there and just gave the guy a death stare. Has the thought ever maybe occurred to him that his wife's inability to get turned on has more to do with him than her age?
Their egos can't take that they themselves aren't young n hot, so of course they bash the woman's age. They always blame the woman.
Also, what does my getting wet have anything to do with giving him a lap dance?

yes a few times I had guys ask me if there are any older girls because they were uncomfortable also when i was a waitress a guy asked me to send him older dancers.
xoxo
My boyfriend is 13 years younger than me, so yes, sometimes guys like older gals.

I am 45,but have been 29 in the clubs for 16 years now.Nobody ever bats an eye! Some thickness and chubby cheeks veer away those wrinkles as you age,I just work with my body type with outfits that compliments me and it is all good!
Hi Ava$!So I take T-shirt’s and cut out the boobie part so I can show my greatest physical asset lol.And I wear super short, flary type skirts so it creates more of an hourglass look.So the lil belly remains un-seen,but all the parts they come to see show.Give it a try!My best to you!

I hit the gym 6x a week for an hour minimum. Don't really drink or smoke. And I have plastic surgery to hell and back.

Quite frankly I look better at 40 than I did in my 20s. Those were my IHOP days. Saggy ass pancake tits and a minigunt? No thank you.
