Default Where are the hidden gems for fall?

Hey ladies, where are the current hidden gems at? I know ten years ago a hidden gem was North Dakota with the oil drilling towns. Are there any spots like this today? Or even cities that are worth traveling to in the fall, thanks for any info!

Well if people start talking, then it’s not very hidden :p

I think this info has been widely talked about but I’ll be trying out somewhere in the upper Midwest for hunting season. I’ve heard such mixed things about traveling for that (good and bad) but since I’m allowed to take my dog into the dancer housing, that’s good enough for me to give it a shot.

Thumbs up Re: Where are the hidden gems for fall?

Fall is a pretty decent time just about anywhere. The economy is like doing well rn but teetering on fragile ground so go forth and shake some ass while you can, I know I am.

I think travel dancing in the hopes of hitting big money is usually not the best way to go, unless you just enjoy traveling while making a bit of money, or unless you live in a place that's truly tragic, earnings-wise. Traveling is often pretty expensive! I'd rather make $400/shift at home, for example, than $800/shift while traveling (with travel expenses, inconveniences, and other assorted stressors). It's easy to think that the grass is always greener...

I know, probably not helpful, but just mentioning it on the low chance that it might ring true for anyone reading this! Faraway clubs can really seem like fantasy worlds, but that's rarely the case. That said, sometimes it's nice to switch things up!

Yeah I’ve noticed that whenever pandemic restrictions get lifted in an area, and a particular area goes back to whatever was previously “normal” there was a boom of people coming in. I noticed when dancers would brag about money being great it correlated with that in their area.

I think that’s mostly been resolved most places. No idea what the next ‘event’ could be since as far as I know it’s not business travel or conferences. Idk about sports?

But that being said, there is something to being a fresh face and grabbing new girl money.

^ good point, re: new-girl money. And it can also be reinvigorating to work someplace new in a new city, especially if you're feeling a bit burned out!
