Happy Thanksgivings
Just curious what’s are y’all cooking? What are y’all thankful for?
I don’t think I’ll do much cooking. I will eat myself into a food coma. Lots of weed edibles, n95, and Lysol.

Happy Thanksgiving to one and all. Gobble till you wobble BUT please remember the needy. Donate to a local food bank and/or soup kitchen. Give a few hours of your time if nothing else.

I will be trying to figure out how to make this very large spiral cut ham that J bought.
I'm thinking it's simple. Just throw it in ? Ha. I think it's already cooked and just chilled at the store.
It's just us and this thing must weigh at least 10 pounds . I think there is a lot of ham in our near future.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just brush on the glaze that was provided, place it cut side down in a roasting pan, then put it in the oven at 350 and leave it until the glaze becomes a golden brown. It should take about one and a half hours for a ham that big. Enjoy!
The good news is that ham keeps really well. You can freeze and reuse cooked ham, though it's best to cut it up and freeze it in single meal batches. Also a huge bonus if you have the bone to make a stock from.
I’m grateful today that on the freeways, the traffic is only bad enough to have to go 10-20 under the speed limit. Whew!
Also grateful to not be participating in anything retail. Jeez, talk about trying to remind people to find things to be grateful about.
Going to have barbecue tomorrow. It will be tasty.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
Turkey is ready to go in the smoker.

We have three turkeys… one oven baked, one deep fried, and I’m trying something new this year where I did a garlic herb injection, put it on the Big Green Egg for an hour and a half, then finish it in the deep fryer. Green beans, macaroni and cheese, stuffing, potato salad, scratch made bread rolls… we have a lot of people here, and what an amusing admixture of people it is, which includes a lesbian couple and 10 people from a Mennonite background (five of whom are baptized into the church), one from an Amish background, two coworkers, another former stripper (though I’ve asked her not to divulge that, as my parents don’t know I’ve been a stripper and I don’t want them to know), two firefighters (one of whom is a very jacked woman), and it’s fucking great. And a bunch of us are concurrently working to get a car that’s been sitting in a warehouse for 17 years back up and running. If this isn’t what Thanksgiving is all about, then what is?
Ope… almost forgot to mention, we’re slow cooking some pulled pork as well, and if anyone’s up for dessert, I went back to the panaderia and picked up some things.

Written on the walls at the house of sorrow
You can find the names of those who burned
Greater yet, the pain in little drawings
I could not remain in that room

Happy Thanksgiving!
Where Am I? Missing NYC
Happy Thanksgiving for you as well.
Classic Thanksgiving dinner: turkey, pumpkin pie, mac and cheese, and mashed potato and Caesar salad.
Plus our Cuban delicacies: pork, congris, yuca and sweet platains.
Beers, red wines and my favorite Jack Daniels shot by the end of the night.

Belated holiday greetings to all of you![]()
Work hard in silence and let success make the noise
Happy New Year to everyone.
