Changes since COVID?

What changes have you noticed in your club, since Covid? My club is not socially distanced or anything, but I've noticed a lot of subtle changes from the past decade (omg) that I've been dancing...

-Customers seem a LOT nicer and better behaved than before... there's more friendly conversation and almost zero groping

-More stage tips?? Guys making it rain on weekdays at my "gentlemen's club," when it didn't used to be such a party atmosphere

-Different music... my club used to give girls total control over their songs, but now they focus more on the party vibe, and everyone has to dance to pop/hip hop

-Cocktail waitresses & bartenders in bikinis... they used to have a more conservative uniform...

-Downsized staff... no house mom, fewer waitresses than before, way fewer dancers than before

-Fewer customers overall, but less broke timewasters/voyeurs

-Support staff seem to be bored a lot, as there are fewer customers, lol... but most of the dancers remain very busy

^ When I went back about 9 months ago I'd say ..... I did feel that energy of the guys seeming super happy we were back !

For me it was horrible having to mask up at work. I hated that vegas was requiring masks ( as a city rule ) well past the time frame when everyone was vaxxed and fully boosted. Thank goodness they dropped it !

It seems like you are getting really great " new girl " energy on your return !

Yeah, definitely feeling the new girl energy... I was also just as excited as the customers, to have more human contact and conversation, lol

Omg, thank you. Finally a thread where people are down to share. I'm ready to go back for the first time since March 2020 and so many dancers I've asked have just been stonewalling.

I haven’t worked in almost a year but there were definitely changes.

They got rid of all floor dances, the minimum option was 2/$60 with you keeping $50.
They also increased house fees by $5.
Basically the club now gets a cut of literally everything you do.

I also noticed that stage was more lucrative. It was usually a crap shoot, I couldn’t bank on it even covering my fees except on weekends, but there were more people throwing more money on weekdays. I’d guess it’s because the lack of floor dances took away something to “do” so interacting with the girl on stage is now more appealing.

Omg, I was just saying to myself how since I’ve been back this past month, I’ve only had like one dick pulled out, they used to try this regularly, I’d always have to make them pull pants up and they still ask for extras but not near as much which I love!! Also, dances used to be 40/song or 3 for 100 now it’s 60/song or 2 for 100 which makes since since everything has doubled in price why not dances too?! No social distancing not masks..that’s funny u guys notice this too, must be like this all over, but when outside the club I notice people actually got shittier, they all have anger problems and I can’t deal but for some reason the customers have calmed down on the extras and pulling there shit out

^^This has mostly been my experience also on the east coast. Some changes for worse, and some for better. But if it helps I truly feel in my heart like the bad is a temporary lull & we will be back to lots of money to go around soon.

A positive- I noticed clubs raising their prices across the board and the average lap dance price is no longer $20 (about damn time!). Paying customers tip more freely now. Many of them tip me without me having to ask! This was not the case before.

^Same! I've had so many customers tip generously after normal dances, whereas before, I usually had to ask for a tip, or it would be just a few $. I'm talking $50+ tips without me asking.
