    Default Bark Worse then Bite?

So I finally had by big debut on October 31....It was pretty scary but I felt so amazing getting out there for the first time...I was shaking and thought I was going to pass out...I forgot all the moves i practiced for a month when the music came on....I even had a cheering section .....but I got through my dances and went back the next night....which didn't go as well....I was pretty taken aback by how some of the girls were....I understand that we aren't there to make friends but I saw a pretty nasty fight which scared me a bit....and then the girls started telling me to stay away from their regulars, and they'd hurt me if I did....the club I went to was one where a good friend of mine works and warned me that the girls might not take a liking to me....I don't want to do extras...so I am moving to a different club....I checked this place out a bit more...talked to more of the girls ....but does it really happen that often ....or even at all that someone would follow through on a threat to hurt me...I really enjoyed dancing and got a great rush from the experience and felt so free and powerful to be on stage and then wanted for a dance.....any advice on going to the new club? I have been dancing only a month now...things are still pretty new for me.... Any thing I can look to avoid....thanks to all of your advice before I danced. It really helped out :

Nice going! Sounds to me like you are going to turn into a first rate dancer! I hope sometime to be able to watch you dance (if I'm lucky).

it happens. not often. never underestimate your opponent. My boss told me a story a few weeks ago how back in the day (80's) one girl put rat poison on another's food. The wrong girl ate it. got very sick.

Sometimes strippers can be terratorial. The first night I ever worked, one of the girls started mouthing off, loudly, that she'd like to beat my ass. I was kinda shaken, honestly, since I didn't expect that sort of reception. I thought it would be more friendly, girl-powerish vibes in the dressingroom. Ah, what a rude awakening that was. She turned out to be a seriously trivial chick, and a pill popper at that. So, take it all in stride.
Smile. It makes people wonder what you've been up to.

That's a shame that some girls can be so territorial, especially of their regulars.

Girls can be crazy, especially at strip clubs!! Just watch your back and keep to yourself!! Don't trust any one either for a while. You think you know somebody and then they stab you in the back. That sort of thing happens often at SC's. Be nice and friendly but don't try too hard to please the other girls. Just do your thing girl!

Geez!! Well, for them to freak out like that, you're probably really pretty. Good thing you got outta there! Just be sweet... and making friends with a couple of the tougher, scarier girls wouldn't hurt

Don't bother making friends, just go do your job and keep to yourself. There will always be territorial bitches at the club. Sounds to me like that is a not-so-great club and you are probably prettier than most of the girls there - they can get very nasty when they are insecure. Most of them are full of crap, and just trying to scare you away, or scare you into staying 'in line'. Just do your thing. You can't let that crap scare you out of the club, but in this case it may be best to move on. If alot of girls were making threats, it's probably not a good club.
