Default Stripper Agencys, what do you think????

I was searching for a job here in Europe because I want to start to Strip, it doesn“t matter where, I“m near to Paris, so it“s not so hard for me to move there.

I found in a few agencys which are offering jobs in Japan, Long Island, Europe, UK, Caribbean, etc.

Don“t you think it“s a little dangerous going to Japan to work as Stripper?????

What if they take you as a prostitute for those ugly Japanese guys????

What if they don“t let come back to your country?

You don“t know Japan, the language and the laws there and they could take your passport.

hey there. I've heard good things about working in Japan and bad things. I think it would be smart to work at a club you already know somehtign about: it has an affiliate you know or is a chain. never let your passport leave your possesion, ever. there's no reason for it and it's dangerous.

Also, I am back and forth from PAris for personal reasons and ther are 3 clubs there.

    1. Stringfellow's, the British chain (you need British working papers). They serve fancy food, never been there, supposed to be nice enough.
    2. Pink Paradise. they are fancy, too, as all the clubs are. but they're really not friendly (management/house mom/girls) and the vibe is strange. For girls who are really seriously stereotypically "stripper looking" this could be good, but beware of people making you feel bad/body conscious/anything else.
    3. Hustler Club. Nice, newest of the three. I stuck with this one, so I know the most about it. There is no conact in France. Smoking is allowed. Ummm, oh ya, they have nude rooms where you get 2 dances for the price of 3, still no contact and no "bending/speading," so of course you tell eveyone they want this as it is a great deal. There's also a champagne room -like option that is new and I'm not clear on it (in NYC now), but this is not generally popular as french culture is different from American culture and they just have sex when they want to (also scs are new and there is no word of mouth on champagne rooms). There is a house fee now (around 50 euros and up). Tip out dj 10, house mom 10. It's really hit or miss in PAris. SCs are new and they tend to be run like regular clubs, which is really annoying. Also expect to have to explain to every customer (or every other) as a result what a lap dance is and even what a stripper does.

You get paid with a ticket ("beaver bucks") and they keep a percentage. You can take cash only if you are very discreet. Know that there are security cameras in the nude rooms.

Ummm, they also provide long-term hotel housing for girls, which might help you trsnsition. They expect you to go in late and stay late (early), like 10 or 11PM until 5-7 AM. They may also expect you to work 5 days or pay a higher house fee.

After the last time, I said I won't work there again. But at the same time, it has a monopoly: one needs a British passport, the other has problems with being an emotionally horrible place to work.

Huster is in the best location, one block off the famed champs-elysee.

Because of the free housing, the girls change and this really makes a difference. Sometimes the girls are totally friends or at least get a long and sometimes there are some serious culture differences.

Anyway, hope this is a start and if i can help you any more, great. Good luck!

I have heard of models and dancers being forced into prostitution in Japan. I actually talked to a lady who was a model and that happened to her. I would suggest contacting Fawnia Mondey who is a very well known dancer from Canada. She has a lot of experience and could help you find safe places to work in. Her website is http://www.exoticdancelessons.com/

First of all, you're asking about dance agencies. You don't need them! If you haven't started dancing yet, start close to home. Work your way out. Agencies will only take money from you when you could have gotten the job yourself. And being the fact you're new to the business, you don't need to be running off to "foreign" places to start out dancing. Do your own research and work your way "up" to the places you want to work.

Trisha, the real value of using an agency is help in obtaining the "official documents" usually needed to work in a "foreign country" and handling translation issues when making arrangements with foreign clubs. You say you are near Paris - does this mean that you are an E.U. citizen. If so, then you can legally work at any club in the E.U. (unless local laws or club rules are stricter) and since someone at all E.U. clubs speaks English you really don't need an agent.

There are several threads in the Club Chat forum about dancing in Japan. Bottom line is that working at any 'foreign club' requires a contract with a minimum time commitment. If you choose to leave the club before your contract is up you can lose all of your "shift pay" plus you'll have to pick up the tab for the return flight out of your own pocket. If things don't work out for you at the club you've been sent to (i.e. you get fired), odds are you'll be shuffled off to an entirely different kind of club (where you'll probably be expected to do much more than dance) unless you can come up with the money to buy your own plane ticket home. Dancers in desparate situations (i.e. 3000 miles from home with very little money) are easy prey for unscrupulous businessmen if you catch my drift.

There have also been a couple of cases where foreign dancers working in Asia have never been heard from again. This may be because they chose not to be heard from (maybe living happily with a rich sugar daddy), or it could mean something much more ominous.

Also, right now, earnings potential in Japanese clubs isn't any higher than working in the nicer clubs close to home. And just as important in your case, agents and foreign clubs will be extremely reluctant to book a girl who is not a well experienced dancer.

Thanks for your answers, I“m a legal resident of Germany, but I“m Dominican, I can work wherever I want in Europe, but not in USA. I just can go as a Tourist to USA, actually I have a 10 years Tourist Visa for USA. Well, I didn“t want to start in Germany, I hate the German guys, and the economy in germany goes everytime worst and worst. But well, I“m agree with you girls, I think I have to start close to home, that“s the safest way.

If you're able to work anywhere in the E.U., you might want to try Stringfellows or Hustler in Paris or a different club in the U.K. itself which are based on a US/UK club business model (i.e. sexually repressed!). For the most part, "Euro" based business model clubs in Germany, Holland, Italy etc. are pretty extreme by comparison and might be a bit much to handle just starting out.

i'm also considering trying stringfellows in paris after mo OP because clubs in London are going down. If you can work anywhere in the E.U i don't think you really need an agency.

Melonie i was wondering if joining an agency in the US could be an option for me so that i could work legally in the US when i move.

Unfortunately, US agencies concentrate on booking Feature Performers into clubs one week at a time, not in dealing with house dancers seeking extended engagements in US clubs. The US State Dep't still controls who is granted 'work visas' and who isn't, whether a US agent requests it or whether you request it directly. The State Dep't will want to see that you are indeed a feature performer and that particular US clubs have booked you on particular dates before issuing a "work visa" to cover only those dates.

The agency which is predominantly used by NY clubs is Universal Entertainment - more info at
