    Default celebrities at the clubs

Has anyone famous ever came in to any of your clubs? If so, who? Did they spend a lot of money? Any interesting stories? I am curious b/c director Tim Burton came in tonite & told every girl who danced for him that when he needed a role in his upcoming films, he would consider them. Yea right, what a joke. I asked if any other celebs ever came in & apparently David Spade, Jack Nicholson & the rappers Outkast had come in before... this is big for Reno, NV! I thought this was pretty cool anyway. I know another girl who works at OG in Vegas & said Leonardo DiCaprio came in & was a big dick & totally disrespected every single girl.

A few weeks ago, WWE came to Pensacola, Florida; I work at the Sammy's here. Several wrestlers came in, but the one I danced for was The Big Show. He was very sweet. He didn't spend any ridiculous amounts of money, but he did pay me $100 dollars for a private dance and the tipped me $100 on stage twice. He was very respectful and quite interesting to talk to. Oh, and he is HUGE!!!! I think it was something like seven foot four inches and 500 pounds. :o

I believe Leonard sued some publication for public embarassment, or something like that, for printing nude pictures of him. Which might tell you something about a possible reason for his less than civil behavior.

There was an older thread about celebrities a couple of months ago, where I mentioned Trent Reznor coming in, and one of the guys from Korn.

Heh, I've seen several celebs at Rick's in New Orleans and none of them spent money. They're used to having girls falling all over them all the time, so they feel they don't need to pay strippers. They will spend a fortune at the bar and tip the bartenders/waitresses alot.

Damon Wayans was in my club last Wednesday and Thursday and one of my friends hung out with him at a bar after work Thursday night. She said he was alot of fun but she couldn't hook up with him because she had her monthly friend! LOL She has some good stories though He is 100% her type of guy so she would have been into him whether or not he was famous. I thought he was pretty attractive. I talked to him for a little while and he was very nice. He let me and my friend take pics with him at work. I vacated after a few minutes because I was working...

Anyway for me it's kind of cool to get to meet and talk to celebs sometimes but when I'm at work I'm there to make money, not schmooze with people for free, famous or not.

Oh yes! i wrote this in another posting sometime back.
My favorites where when the 49er's came in, 2 of them. One was Terrell Owens! I love that man!! Now i have Bobby Dahl from Poison (spelling) living 10 minutes from me. And the drummer from Whitesnake! His mom is in her 80's and not too well, so he wants to be here. He lives a good 15 minutes from me.
The guy from Whitesnake (man i can't spell his last name, and the accent...damn), is soooo nice, we went out a few times. I actualy met him at a street party where he was playing!

When I was at Tiffany's we'd get lots of professional jocks. When the baseball exhibition season was going on, the place would be crawling with 'em. Jocks, of course, bring with them politicians and money people. Frankly, I didn't know most of 'em. Other dancers would point out and whisper "hey, there's so-and-so" and I would have NO idea who they were talking about!!!

As for actors and musicians, no, we never seemed to get any.

I think we have a long lost thread about this somewhere.
We get a regular who is on the HBO show OZ, but I don't watch the show and don't know which character he plays.
We also get Moby regularly, who also lives down the block from me. He is cheap cheap cheap by the way!
Sting used to come in a lot, but hasn't recently. Wycleffe Jean, and the woman who plays the psychologist on the Sopranos. (sorry i'm bad with names!)
I went to the champagne lounge with Jon Bon Jovi's brother, though he's not much of a celebrity, and one night we had Ozzie Ozbourne's brother - who looks just like him!!Can that be celebrity by association??

A few years back I was working at a club in La and David lee Roth came in. He was probably one of the biggest assholes I've ever met.(and I told him so!) He was making sure everyone new who he was and what a big star he was, yet he was rude, obnoxious and cheap! I tried nicely to let him know what I thought but this man just didn't get it and I finally lost it and told him exactly what I thought of him. He went to the manager, trying to have me fired for calling him an asshole. Luckily the manager was in complete aggreement with me and told mr Roth That he was glad one of his dancers had the balls to stand up to him and that just because he was a celeb, didn't mean he could walk around the club and disrespect the girls there and that if he didn't like my attitude, he should leave! He left and we all applauded!

Just wanted to comment on how big those wrestlers are.

I won a trip to Philadelphia a few years ago to see wrestlemania. We stayed at the hotel with the wrestlers and many of them were in the bar. I was not 21 yet, but nobody in Philadelphia seemed to ID me.

Anyways, they were absolutely the largest people I had ever seen. I'm 6'3" and these people made me feel like a midget. Even the ladies all seemed to be tall and buff. It was crazy.

I was in the bathroom standing at the uruinal, when one of the wrestlers walked up to the urinal next to me. This guy was freaking towering over me. It was insane. I don't even think he was as big as the Big Show, but man that guy was huge.

Ok, just wanted to say that.

At the club I used to dance at in the bay area (CA), Sebastian Janikowski used to come in quite a bit. He seemed pretty arrogant to me, although I never danced for him. There was one dancer, though, who was doing everything in her power to get his attention and it was very obvious that he was not interested. I guess she was getting pretty obnoxious because he stood up in the VIP room, grabbed the empty bottle of champagne, and said, "B**ch, get the hell away from me!". Sure made for an interesting evening.

I did dance for Jaime Foxx one night, he was my last dance at closing. He was really wasted and tried to get me to go home with him. I declined....and he smelled kinda bad. LOL

I've had REO Speedwagon (or is it Arryo Speedwagon?). They were assholes, and it was horrible cause the DJ was falling all over them. The one I was sitting with slapped a girls ass onstage and none of the bouncers did anything, so I chewed him out. Then, later as I was walking by another one grabbed my ass and tried to get a finger under my thong. I slapped him and threw a huge hissy fit, and the owner got mad.
I've seen the Marilyn Manson band, I somewhat avoided them but the one was sweet. He had a weird name. They didn't spend huge amounts of money, but they did spread it around, which was nice.
Lots of sports people that I didn't reckognize.
An actor that everyone except me reckognised, but he liked me anyways (after he told me how important he was) and we did several VIP's and he behaved himself very well.

Oh yeah we get some pro baseball players from Montreal down here once in a while when they come to play, but I don't know any of them since I couldn't be more bored with watching pro baseball, and some of them DO spend some cash. Cristal, huge tips, etc for the girls lucky enough to get on their laps first. Haha one of them took a liking to me on the last trip and kept telling me in the VIP how he was going to come back and get me to be his 'woman' and how he wasn't going to let me dance anymore after October '04. LOL Yeah right. Said he was from Panama, and he did speak perfect Spanish but with an accent I hadn't heard before. He was pretty damn hot - thighs like only an athlete would have

Sugar Ray Leonard was at AllStars in San Antonio a couple of years ago, and he was VERY nice to me and three other dancers. He had an attorney or agent with him too. They were trying to outspend each other, I think. Each girl made over $500 in about three hours. I made over $700. It was fantastic. Sugar Ray was a TOTAL gentleman as well.

As I posted in a long lost thread on the same subject, I'll take Business Celebrities over Entertainment Celebrities any day. As some of you have posted, for the most part Entertainment Celebrities tend to be finger pinching cheap in regards to tipping, and seem to expect that every dancer should be grateful for the privelege of being allowed to do private dances for free, i.e basking in the "limelight" of a star should be sufficient reward! I'll take a Fortune 500 CEO's Platinum American Express instead!

My best earnings night ever as a house dancer occurred in a little out of the way club in a small Michigan town which bills itself as a fisherman's paradise. Hewlett-Packard Chairman David Packard came into the club with a half dozen younger guys in Armani suits, celebrating the sale of his company. Every single girl in the club took home over a grand that night! In fact, after thinking about it, I'm going to head back to this very same club this coming weekend.

oh... no i am with melonie all the way, mr. suga ray leonard came into my club (the penthouse club, dallas) on friday; with his entourage, i suppose, and spent ( all 10 of 'em) a grand total of 1,000. big freaking whoop, i had several of them promising me the moon... if only i would...., i went downstairs to the "commoners" and made 220 off one guy (who didn't even try to tell me what he did for a living in 30 mins) so yeah, screw the big celebs. i got dick at home, all i need at the club is respect and money, if you don't have that i couldn't care less who you are.

I've always been under the assumption that unless they are flaunting their celebrity status to get freebies, they would prefer if their visit was kept confidential. ???

Trent Reznor came into the Shark before I started working there, but I happened to be hanging out. One of the dancers was all excited about telling me she was going out with him, and when he walked in the door she went apeshit and clung to him like he had superglue on his clothes. It was kind of pathetic, but then I"ve never been much of one for celebrity-worship.

He was a little bitty, kind of drab-looking guy, not that that matters. The guy is an outstanding musician, especially if you listen to his remixes and lesser known works. He was actually very quiet and didn't say much; perhaps he was having difficulty breathing with her encasing his chest. At least he wasn't an arrogant a**hole like rock stars and jocks seem to be so often.

Speaking of which, a dancer I worked with told me she asked Fred Durst for his autograph, whereupon he immediately asked her for a blowjob. I wasn't there, so cannot vouch for the authenticity of this, but from what I have heard about him, it is quite likely true. I was pleased to hear that Jesse James, the custom motorcycle builder of the stars (Pamela has met him), who has a year-long waiting list for his 150,000$ creations, had Fred try to bribe his way to the top of the list. Not only did that effort meet with failure, but Jesse has publicly stated that he "doesn't build motorcycles for jerks", in reference to the misguided attempt.

One of the members from Korn came into Molly Browns one night so one of the two managers came over and told me I should play Korn. Since I'm a fan of theirs, and normally it is forbidden there, I was very happy to do so, only to have another manager come over and tell me I shouldn't have played their music because they don't want to hear their own stuff when they are out. He wasn't there long, and I didn't even see him, much less try to meet him.

One club I used to go to that was very busy had a head of security that I was friends with, and one night he was all excited and said "Quick, come over here! You won't believe who is here!" So I went over with him to this tall guy and my friend said "This is (insert name of celebrity jock here, I don't know who any of them are--because, sorry, I don't care)!"

Since I had no idea who the guy was I politely said "Hi, nice to meet you", whereupon my friend's jaw dropped, and he repeated the name with more emphasis, as you might say "the KING of ENGLAND" to a mentally deficient child. So I said "Yes, great...so how are you doing?" My friend was so totally and obviously embarassed and disgusted with me that I knew I had screwed up, which puzzled me because I thought I was being very nice. The guy, whoever he was, didn't seem to mind that I had failed to kiss his ass. Needless to say I didn't lose any sleep over it.

If you put any male animal in with a bunch of females of his species he will instinctively puff himself up and posture to display his masculine power and availability for reproduction. Since we humans lack crests, horns, or colorful feathers to aid the process, our compensating genetic ability to bullshit must be used to full advantage. The possession of celebrity status is the most effective crest. Sadly, this does not mean we will be spared the strutting and posturing.

I edited this down some, but since gem was interested in Trent Reznor, I am reposting this from an earlier thread.

*cries* If only I had been born earlier. I love trent reznor. (Actually his name is Michael, but anyway). I was actually talking with a photographer about some TFP work who worked with Trent's girlfriend to further her modeling career. She's not amazingly stunning, but she's decent looking... I wonder if they're still going out...

Cleveland clubs have athletes in them quite a bit...either Jani Lane or Sebastian Bach (couldn't tell the difference if they were both standing in front of me) comes into a club in Akron all the time, the gang from Jackass stopped into Diamond's in Cleveland when they were making part of the Jackass movie.

Also, Cleveland can be good for "rock stars" as there are a LOT of concerts here. Met Kid Rock at a weekend music fest in Cuyahoga Falls, and one of my stripper friends was asked to dance onstage with Rob Zombie at last year's Ozzfest in the falls too...

Now if only I could meet Peter Steele.....*sigh*
