Hi,
Have you ever had a male friend, who didn't know you worked as a stripper, visit the club and see you? How did you/he handle it? Did he handle it responsibly, or act like a jerk? What would be the way you'd want him to handle it?

YES!!!
I was actually talking about that happening the night it happened! My girlfriends and I were sitting at the bar when I turn around and the guy was right behind me!! He never really saw me so I grabbed my friend's hand and briskly made a dash for the loo! She helped calm me down and was giving me good advice along the lines of "If he sees you hide, he'll think you're ashamed of what you do and he can use it against you. Just turn the tables and he'll be more embarrassed. Now go make money!"
So, to avoid a fake surprise encounter, I walked right up to him and said in a confident-casual way "Hi, what are you doing here?" He kinda gave me a "WTF are YOU doing here?!" look and then proceeded to take the piss for a minute or two before threatening to tell the the uni authority that I was a dancer. I told him not to BS me about because I could tell his girlfriend he was frequenting the strip clubs AND that as an adult, the uni have no grounds to expel me (besides, he would have to explain that he was ALSO in the club in order to see me there). Then he cooled off and starting telling me he actually respected the fact that I was a dancer (was probably intimidated). But then after that, the jockstrap even had the nerve to approach me several times and ask me for a dance!! I said "No" everytime of course!!
So yeah, that was the first time that happened. It's happened to me twice since then but I just hide in the dressing room now. That was risky!

ATF had attended a party with guy and girl college friends and friends of friends.
A guy she saw there came in a saw her two months later. He left fairly promptly after talking with her which was appreciated.
A bunch of gugs from accounting shipping showed up one night (was random they picked a strip club) for a bachelor party while ATF was dancing. This didn't go as well as they stayed, and she tried to hide out with me.
She paid the DJ to take her out of stage rotation... but the shift changed in an hour
and she was on stage three times in two hours. She wound up taking them to the VIP lounge bar area for private table dances. They finally left. ATF was not pleased as they
weren't cool about it.
Thanks for the reply...if they'd acted better at first would you have agreed to dance for them?YES!!!

Thanks again for the reply. I've had such situations happen a couple of times--once when I discovered a friend of mine with a website where she was posing nude. And the other time was one of those joints in NYC near Times Square--I think they are mostly or all shut down now--where for a $1 token and a tip of $2-$5 you could fondle a woman for 1 minute--where I saw a friend of mine performing. I don't think she recognized me, though, because in the booths where the customers reached through a narrow window, it was pretty dark and the customers were largely in shadow.YES!!!

That is like one of the biggest things I'm worried about. Actually Im more nervous that one of my Dad's guy friends will come in the club....

wouldn't you be even more nervous that Dad himself would come in? or does he know where u work and therefore would respectfully keep away?
Hell no! This guy lived next door to me at the time and we go to the same uni - I didn't want him to get off on seeing me naked. Since I put him in his place, I must admit that everytime he's seen me since then, there is this air of respect (no, seriously, I don't mean to sound big-headed, he's always very VERY nice around me)! I just wouldn't dance for someone I know. I think it would change your approach to each other much more than if they just saw you at the club.

It's one of the few jobs that if someone spots you working there, it can totally change their impression of you. I mean, just ask your friends how they'd feel if you found you in a strip club compared to working at a burger bar. It's just something I don't want to get an unnecessary headache about so I try and avoid it.

I thought you all would be more worried about relatives showing up. I know a dancer that was in the middle of a hot lapdance with a guy before they reconized each other, he was her uncle.... :o she said she had never been more embarssed in her life.... If I ran into a female friend at a club. I would say hi, and ask her if she wanted me to leave. if she did, I would do so and call her about making sure we avoided the same thing again. if she didn't mind me being there, i would stay and be sure I tipped her good on stage....![]()
Yes it was a bunch of my boyfriends friends which went back home and told his parents I was a stripper. Did I mention his dad was a pastor? WoopsHe is now my X as you could've guessed. Thank God!

I'd be mortified if a relative came into the club but I know that wouldn't happen.
I can't believe that uncle-lapdance story! That is truly shocking!!! I would never be able to look that guy in the eye again without feeling like a complete fool!

Three Times!!!
1 - A guy who knew me since I was 14, (I am 35 now) he worked at the mall I use to hang out at.
2 - A boy now 27 that I knew when he was 6 years old.
3 - My CAR INSURANCE AGENT!! (The most uncomfortable)
All three I casually walked up to and said Hi. The first two I sat and chat with for a little while.

Nah I'm not to worried about my dad. He doesn't do the whole strip club thing. But he does hang around alot of younger guys who are like in their 20'-30's. I would hate for them to tell him...wouldn't you be even more nervous that Dad himself would come in? or does he know where u work and therefore would respectfully keep away?
