I used to love piercings before I started dancing but my boss is really strict about tatoos and piercings, and now I see why. I think it is more attractive to be natural, though I still wouldn't mind to have maybe just one![]()

Kianna-
You got a tat on your face? ???
I voted NO. Had one potential flockette but couldnt get past her nose ring LOL I do like belly button piercings tho. I think they are very sexyNever personally encountered a nether region piercing.
Could be an age thing. Im older. Some of the younger customers may love them. Analyze your target customers and proceed accordingly.

Once again I have embraced my addiction and have put off the moral dilemma to another day.
I can handle the tiny nose studs but thats it and even those I'm not crazy about.

I voted yes but only for the very small nose ones.

The only 'facial' piercing I have is my tongue (excl. my ears). The only way I knew that not everyone liked it was if I was wearing my UV bar and in the LD booths (they have strong UV lights) esp. the the older clientele would notice and say they didn't like it. But I had charmed them by then and it didn't affect the money I would make in the LD booth.
But I wear a small bar so it doesn't put people off when we first meet and for them to have an excuse to turn me down. I think that's the best way.
The guys LOVE my belly ring though (even the older clientele!) They find it sexy so I definitely have no qualms about that.

I guess I prefer the more natural looking face. So I would say no.

i've got a labret, and i have my septum (ring through the middle of the nose) pierced. the labret has always gone over just fine, and i wear a rhinestone in it to match my other jewelry. as much as i like my septum ring, though, i know that work isn't the place for it and i take it out at work. the times i've left it in, it hasn't seemed to change my money at all and i've even gotten a few compliments on it, but i still just don't feel right having it in at work.
i think the attractiveness of piercings really does depend on the rest of the face . . . . the bottom line is that they look good on some people and not on others. the right things in the right places with the right jewelry can enhance natural beauty just as easily as the wrong piercings can detract from it.

No. Like all fads, this too will pass. It reminds me of my retired friend who is on the the board of a local hospital that does laser surgery free to gang members in their early
30's who need to get rid of their tatoos. They only have enough resources to
offer two free removals a month. It is extremely painful to have tatoos removed, especially
alot of them with gang affiliations. But these people do the pain to straighten out their lives.
At least with the piercings they can heal and not leave too visible a scar right?
actually...neither piercing or tattooing are fads....as both practices have been going on for centuries...by many people...in many different countries...
just most people in this country still associate them to bikers and gang bangers...of which i am neither....
(a pretty backwards way of thinking...imo)
Why do some people still have to fight...to get the same opportunities...that are given to others??...

Started showing up here about 1990. Don't care and am not interested in other
countries and their lack of fashion.
"Like all fads... this too will pass." I see we also have 30 year old "goths" which
I find amusing as the current teens think goths are "old" and are into something else.
calm down 'niceguy'...i'm just sharing my thoughts on the subject...as you are...

Probably an age generation thing on piercings. I do like belly button jewelry.
"Trends" seem to run in ten year cycles, with the next ten year age group
abandoning the trend. If piercing came on strong about 1995 it has about three years of trend time left.
Try a nude hula hoop stage dance to appeal to me. No one has ever done that before.
i'm way into certain body art like tattoos and piercings i'm more case by case though i don't think everyone looks good with body art and i think it should suit the person. like one of my friend's is really tiny but she has big tattoos- that don't look right on her. (ok that was off topic!) i think certain small piercings can be appealing but not huge gauged out ones especially on small faces. you can get pretty jewelry for the piercings too like glow in the dark and sparkles![]()
