i heard about that, that's wacked. those girls have to stay completely still the whole time people are eating off them. i wonder how much $$$$ they get paid??? should be alot!!!!

i have seen that in a club in London however it was fruit on the women the guests were eating. This is well known in eastern Asia.

Holding still that long would not be fun.
I'm into naked women and all that, but eating sushi off of the ladies is not really a top priority for me? Maybe I'm in the minority here.
Tyler.
Is sushi supposed to be kept cool? Seems like the woman's body heat would warm it, help bacteria to grow in the raw food and make those people sick!

People hear the term sushi and they think raw fish. Well yes sushi is raw fish, but not ONLY raw fish, and many types of sushi don't have raw fish at all.Is sushi supposed to be kept cool? Seems like the woman's body heat would warm it, help bacteria to grow in the raw food and make those people sick!
I'd think these are sushi rolls, just a guess. Mostly those are vegetables, a tiny sliver of meat (raw or cooked) all wrapped in rice and seaweed.
I don't think that the bacteria would be able to grow that quickly.
Just a guess.
Tyler.
Wow That's....interesting. I wonder if it's awkward for the girls? Do the people talk to the girls or do they just lay there like plates? I think dessert's on the women would be way more sexy than sushi![]()
Lips, Hips, and Sugary Tits
Seems very unhygienic to me.
It's actually very common in Europe, at least Sweden. They call the women "human buffets." I have read about it, and seen a few clips of this being done. But this was all types of food. I do not remember sushi being mentioned.
Does seem like fun, i think i would like to do it. But i am from Sweden so we tend to be open minded anyway. Guess it's in my blood!!!

Funny that this has come up. Two weeks ago at work I was approached by someone from a Sushi resteraunt in Boca Raton. Boca is about 20 minutes from my club. Don't know if it was the owner, manager or who, but he asked if I was interested in being the girl they put the sushi on. I was flattered but explained to him although I get naked at work I just wouldn't feel comfortable being used as a dinner plate. Just my opinion at the time. I didn't find out how much if anything it would've payed but now I'm wondering if I was to quick to say no. It could've possibly been a pretty neat experience.
I was a mostly nekkid sushi girl once. The sushi was served on thick lettuce leave so that there was no contact with my skin. They only did a few selections at a time and placed a new lettuce leaf with each new selection. They actually used mostly cooked or previously frozen nigiri (unagi, crab, seared albacore) and a few common rolls like spicy tuna or California rolls.
Yes, I had to lie perfectly still but it wasn't for any longer than when I modelled for a sculpting class (about 20 minutes). That was fine. I could smile, wink or comment if need be and a bouncer was there the whole time. I was paid $80 from the sushi bar plus tips (which came to a total of almost $300 - counting the $80 - for 20 minutes). I was only in my thong and Damn! that light was unforgiving. Lucky me
For the money, I would do it again. The only downside was some drunken idiot repeatedly commenting that I had a bruise on my knee. That was just annoying.

I've never heard of this. A little offbeat but it seems harmless enough.
But a couple of excerpts from the first article:
A naked sushi protest? Some people have WAY too much time on their hands. [shameful]"It's dehumanizing, the manner in which people are buying and selling sushi to be eaten off a woman's body. It's dehumanizing to be treated as a plate," said Cherry Cayabyab, president of the local chapter of National Asian Pacific American Women's Forum.
If the club persists, she and other activists plan to launch a media campaign _ apparently the first organized opposition to naked sushi in the United States.
Eating off a woman's body promotes violence? I'm curious, do they have evidence of this? I was thankful to graduate from college and get the hell out of there just so I could get away from people with this warp assed view of the world. (Ironically enough, many of these people are often the same ones who are big on using the word "diversity"). I haven't heard any stories yet of a gal being forced to be a naked sushi girl at gunpoint.Critics at the university Women's Center say it still promotes violence against women.
"It provides a forum to see a human being as an object _ and when women are viewed as objects, they are more likely to be violated," said Norma Timbang, executive director of the Asian and Pacific Islander Women and Family Safety Center.
I think its time for some of these "protestors" to get their heads out of their dogma, and realize not everyone in the world thinks that display of the human form (the female form in particular) constitutes objectification. Her body, her business, right?

RIGHT!
Sushi is actually non-raw fish (steamed, smoked, etc). Sashimi is RAW fish. It tastes good, but ewwww, the texture is definitely acquired. Is sushi supposed to be kept cool? Seems like the woman's body heat would warm it, help bacteria to grow in the raw food and make those people sick!
So, to answer your questions, no, sushi does not need to be kept cool. You shouldn't leave it out overnight, but a couple of hours won't hurt it. Sashimi, now, you'd want to keep cool at all times.
IMHO, it's not dehumanizing or demoralizing if someone does something completely and totally of their own free will...
Some people will do anything to start something out of nothing....Geesh!

Just another marketing scheme along with topless car washes. Leave it to the feminists to see it as another form of violence against women.
I read the article and just shook my head. Wow. Too much time on someone's hands.

A pic I found. Kind of wierd... but good for Bridgette I guess.

Hi, my name is Sleepy and I'm powerless over strippers...
Venus Goddess--not to nitpick and annoy BUT-- sushi is actually the name for the vinegar rice, and is cooked or RAW. Sashimi is the fish alone, no rice and can be cooked/smoked and RAW....i have been eating the stuff for over 12 years, and have learned many things about it.
That is right, that's the name for the vinegar rice. A tidbit that is worth knowing (especially since pregnant women, children and people with compromised immune systems are advised not to eat raw fish because of the parasite risk), most of the fish used is deep frozen prior to meeting your friendly sushi chef thus alleviating or at least lessening that concern.
Other safer varieties are the pickled ones like saba (mackerel). Unagi and Anago are both cooked as is Kani (crab).
The fish used for nigiri, maki and sashimi is the same, it is just the cutting style and whether it has rice or not that makes it sushi or sashimi.
Sorry for the silly trivia most of you prolly already knew... I had to take a class this past summer and figured I should get some mileage from the knowledge besides my sushi partyI should sleep now to stave off these urges!
