Default Hair color on a dancer

I've done so many different colors, and now I'm a sexy brunette with blonde highlights. Ooooh! :o The most exotic I've ever been.... Brunette babydoll, so adorable... [winky] [love]

appealing and exotic aren't really the same for me...I like blonde, but that's on me. If I could pull off brunette, I'd do it. I like nice, shiny, brunette hair

I really don't think hair color is as important as what the rest of the girl looks like. I think a pretty face and nice body is more important, then hair color wouldn't matter. I don't like crazy colors though, like blue, purple, clown red, etc.

Guess i need a new picture up. I had my hair done like Christina A. when she was blonde with the dark strands too. It looks nice, but not like any picture i have in the gallery, that was the start of the unfinished product...Lol

So i have multi strands, looks nice. easy care, and i done it myself.

Pam> I love her hair like that...did you do it yourself or get it done professionally? I really like the 2-tone or even 3-tone hair (like blonde, brown and black chunks) but sometimes I think I'm too old for that.....like it's for teenagers.

Blonde is my favorite, and it always catches the eye. Lot's of times a girl with an average-looking face can become more stunning by going blonde. But, the club would be boring if we all went blonde. I think the best hair color is what ever flatters your features the most.

    Hi Emily,
no, i did it myself. Kinda took a few hours to do, but if i decide to keep it this way for along time touch ups will be easy, i just follow the streaks i have put in already. I am blonde, very light, on the top of my head, and scalp, then underneath i have about 15 strands of black hair hanging down. I put none on top, that would look silly for me, and the blending would not work that way.

I will get a good pic. up in a few days. I need to wash my hair, as i have been giving it a rest. Because i did go lighter on top and dark under, and some dark on the sides. But i think the key is to keep the darker strands under the light. It looks nice.

If i pull all my hair up i have tons of dark hair, and if i let it all hang down i have blonde with pieces of black showing through. It's a pretty cool look. And for me, i think it changed my look, i don't feel older (or too old to have done this) just different. I know wear lighter shirts, to show the darker strands. At the hospital i wear dark shirts, and the strands are hard to see.

Also i did not start the black at my roots. About 6 inches down or maybe a little less, it has more of a "clean" look that way, instead of the chunked out black and blonde....WHOA, i would not want to go that extreme.

It's kinda hard for me to pick a favorite hair color. It all depends on how that color looks on a girl. I had bright orange hair for a long time, I've always been some shade of red. I recently went to a very, very dark red with almost black highlights and I've got a whole new look! I did after my vacation so I was really tan and seem very exotic. Seem sto be working so far!

I am partial to dark thick shiny hair myself. I find it more sultry and sexy than other colors.

as Kobi said, hair color is secondary to a dancer's overall look- face, body, etc. i also dislike crazy colors, i've never seen a neon pink or green or blue hairstyle work for anyone. i like natrual, long, thick, shiny hair, whether it's blonde, brunette, red, or black. well-done highlights can look great too. i do have tend to appreciate a dark, exotic look though.

I think it's important to look at what looks good on you. I myself look more exotic with jet black hair. I think it's also important that you dont' look like everyone else in the club. I mean, If everyone has blonde hair, you'll stick out like a sore thumb ( in a good way) with red hair.

I totally agree with Mariah. Blond catches the eye of any man and sells sells sells. I'm dying to go back to my original color light brown but I had a girlfriend that was extremely pretty as a blond and the went brunette and her money decreased by at least 20%. She was so upset too. I think I'll stay blond for the next 3 years tops. Then when I stop dancing I'll go back to normal brown with blond highlights.
