hi,
Here is a VERY good read. "Screw the Roses, Send me the Thorns."
The romance and sexual sorcery of sadomasochism.
Author: Philip Miller and Molly Devon.
Also Nadia, go to google and type in "real women don't do house work" Lots of good reading, and links.
Let me know if you need more. This book and the site you get off google should educate you enough for now. Lots of goodies!!!!
Good luck,

Also forgot a good sitte with lots of links:

I mentioned some resources in this thread: http://www.stripperweb.com/cgi-bin/y...num=1067231243
I cannot endorse the book "S&M 101" enough for a good basic introduction.
Also, I don't know where you are, but many adult toy stores have classes on aspects of S&M/BDSM like spanking, domination, sensual rope work.... all sorts of things. They can be very worth checking out.
Have fun... V

Hi Nadia,
I've been lurking around this board for a few weeks now. This is something I truly know about though. I've been a professional dominatrix for three years and counting. Screw the roses send me the thorns truly is a great book. If you want instruction. So is the other one mentioned, SM 101.
If you want story type books the very first thing you should pick up is the beauty trilogy (the claiming of sleeping beauty, beauty's punishment, and beauty's release), and Exit to Eden both by Anne Rice. The story of O is also a classic even though it's mostly male domination. There is one last series that is really good, it's the marketplace series by Laura Antoniou. I think there are six books in that. They're a bit dry on the fantasy aspect, but great on the actual themes.
The sad thing about s&m books is that there is a fine line between good and cheesy. I'll vouch for the ones I've listed (although I've never finished the marketplace series).
Guess we will throw some books at you Nadia, and read away hun!
Sinse Ann Rice was mentioned her "best" all time fav. is Mens fantasies. It's a great book that will take you inside the minds of hundreds different men. However if you need to learn the terminology for Phone sex, or watever you are planning, i have a list of 2,000 terms for every sex related "play."
Everything from "pony riding" to seat cushions, to scat for example. Like SenDomNYC, i have dominated my share of guys. They don't live the lifestyle however, just want to "get away." Remember there are different forms of domination. You will learn this as you read.
Remember too that what was considered the 'norm' was to NOT have any sex with these guys. I had them masturbate before the session, because their senses are much much more hightened! Their turn on is "NOT" having control. Ours is having control over them. Safe words, NOPE. But i kept myself feeling the guys mood by his words or yelling! It is fun.
Now i mainly do this type of work over the phone, which makes it very hard to know what they want. They don't say. So you roll with it, and pray you know that they know they really want Dom. instead of being your sissy boy.
Good luck,

This is such a great post. I have decided to learn more about how to play the dominatrix persona myself. I actually used a few lines that I learned from reading about the subject on the internet last night at work. I have just ordered a book on how to be a mistress. I can't wait to learn more.
Pamela - That Men's Fantasies book sounds really cool too. Can I find it at a regular book store like Barnes and Nobles or do I have to order from the internet?
Most people prefer to believe their leaders are just and fair even in the face of evidence to the contrary, because once a citizen acknowledges that the government under which they live is lying and corrupt, the citizen has to choose what he or she will do about it. - M Rivero

Probably either way. I actually get it from the library from time to time. It's a great read.
PS, i used it alot when i had a man on the phone who wanted to hear a kinky or just hot and sexy story. The book goes by category. Say masturbation stories, and then you have homosexual stories etc.
