That took place awhile ago so no it isn't affecting business. Vice have nothing better to do so they target the SC's. Some peple just always want to bring SC's down.
When I worked at OG's vice came in undercover quite freqently. I got a warning once. It was so scary. I have a flawless record! Guess what it was for? Sitting on a customers lap topless ( I was getting ready to do a LD as soon as the next song started). Can you believe I almost got a $1500 fine for that? Especially at OG's where the extras seem to run rampant.![]()

There was an influx of raids in Vegas clubs late last year and early this year after the Clark County commisioners imposed new restrictions on lap dancing in Clark County clubs (which only applies to clubs south of Sahara Avenue) back in July '02.
After the media hubbub about the ordinance waned, the police raids kind of slowed down, but yes, even in Sin City that kind of crap goes on.
Former SCJ now in rehab.
Bleh... the Clark County commisioners are all stuck on stoopid... the city knows that SC's are big money buisness, they want their piece of the pie.. hence the raids. its all a bullshit though.. this town (vegas) was built on murder, gambling, stealing, drugs, sex ,etc... now they wanna make it a family friendly town.

Vegas is probably the ultimate microcosm of the strip club business, with extreme hyprocracy on every issue i.e. dancer's licensing, show clubs and extras, "selective" law enforcement, local politics etc. But IMHO the bottom line is still the same - in order to earn decent money a dancer has to provide significant levels of contact on a daily basis, and that dancer runs some risk of being busted for doing what she and virtually every other dancer in town have been doing for years.

Contact dances yes, but no extras. It does happen here, but not by me, and I make significant amounts of money, as I know other girls do to that do not provide extras.
Btw, exact same in Kansas. Contact yes, extras no, and I was the top earner of my club. It was a small club and the dancers were very close. I never saw any extras there nor heard of any. My level of contact didn't change between KS and LV.
Bottom line, you do not have to do extras to make money in Vegas. You have to hustle hard, have a personality and work 8 hr shifts to make money and you don't have to be a 9 or 10. There are girls that do extras just like everywhere else, why they do, I cannot say because I've never been there. I think a lot of them feel pressured and can't say no to money or men and they feel if they do say no they won't make any money.
Aren't most clubs contact clubs besides the upscale clubs that provide air dances? I think anywhere anyone dancing runs the risk of being busted. Vegas maybe more so because of all the raids and politics involved here.

Kobi that was exactly my point about the hypocracy - that the local cops treat "show club" dancers who don't deliver contact in virtually the same way that they treat "sleaze club" dancers, if given an excuse to bust the club. In most cities, cops treat "strippers" as sex workers and it's left to the girl to prove her innocence. Can you prove that you did NOT provide extras if an undercover cop says that you did ?

Unfortuneatly, no, unless there was some hard core video surveillance in the club. Even then its still a cops word against a strippers. Can you prove that you did NOT provide extras if an undercover cop says that you did ?
