    Default Exotic Dancer Etiquette

Many strippers have BAD MANNERS . It's unknown if they do it on purpose or they don't know the rules, but the sooner you learn the better!T his is stuff to avoid us stepping on toes and pissing off our colleagues.

    Like these:

    1. Don't feed all of your desparate sob stories to customers.
    2. Never call out a manager in front of a customer.
    3. Unless you are attacked, avoid hitting customers.
    4. Don't take up the whole make-up counter
    etc.

    Girls/customers-know any more?

    1. don't interrupt a dancer and her customer! collecting your dollar tip is fine. Lingering is not. On the other hand, don't think I won't interrupt you if you are talking to my customer.

    2. don't talk badly about another dancer to a customer

    No complaining.
    Don't chew gum.
Don't walk around the club or up to a customer with a cigarette in your hand.
Take a "no" in a graceful manner.
If a customer's not buying dances from you, don't camp out at his table; two songs, then leave to give someone else a shot.

One more: Please do NOT shave your kitten where everyone else has to wash their hands.

Do not call a girl a bitch because a customer chose her over you. Especially out on the floor.

Swearing...... I swear. I like to swear. But in moderation and I don't drop the F bomb every five minuites like some of the ghetto fabulous girls in my club. I know it's a "taboo" environment but you don't have to have the mouth of a sailor. Sheesh.

I was I in the bathroom the other day and I witnessed girl#1 go up to girl#2 and ask "Why do you wear your hair like that?" The way they reacted with each other told me they didn't know each other. I couldn't understand Girl #2 very well because of a thick German accent, and she was very quiet. She obviously had a different style of dress and hair. The first girl said "I don't think you should wear your hair that way." and walked off. Girl#2 was visibly upset.

This was obviously not constructive criticism from friend to friend. They were strangers. Variety is the spice of life. Although I wouldn't wear my hair that way either, I wouldn't tell someone they shouldn't. I don't think Miss Manners would approve.

Here's one that always pisses me off. Don't troll "pervert row" while I'm onstage. I waited my turn to go on stage, I didn't bother stageside customers when other dancers were on stage, and it's really tacky if an overly aggressive dancer starts hitting on customers sitting stage side while other dancers are performing - not only does it distract customer attention from my stage show, but it also directly cuts into my stage tips.

It is amazing to me how much of this stuff should not have to even be put into words or should simply be covered by, "act like a decent human being who was taught some manners by your parents".
Anyone with a memory should be very humble.

Never ask another girl to help YOU make money. Girls will rarely share their customers. It's wise to not even ask.

DON'T WAIT UNTIL A GIRL LEAVES HER CUSTOMER TO GO ONSTAGE TO HUSTLE HIM, TELL HIM YOU WILL DO MORE FOR HIM THAN THE OTHER GIRL, ETC. DON'T TRY TO HUSLTE GUYS WHO ARE ALREADY IN THE LAPDANCE OR CHAMPAGNE ROOM WITH SOMEONE ELSE!! This happens all the time at my club, and it really pisses me off!

Don't change your tampons hovering over the trashcan in the dressing room!!!!!!!!! [puke]

After 8 years of dancing, I STILL see girls doing some new stupid thing I haven't seen before. It is amazing how many of these girls have no sense of standards or manners!

I hate that Bridgette...."stealing" someone's customer. Luckily it backfires a lot of times. Customers are smarter than we give them credit for sometimes

Your tampon bit reminded me of this girl at my club. She was really mad because she just got fired and they wouldn't let her back in the building to "change her tampon", so she changed it right in front of the club, right on the street! YICK! And even funnier, she came back the next day asking for her job back.

Since I've started dancing I have seen this a few times and thought "Don't girls do this in the bathroom, or am I just old fashioned?" I think it is gross and rude to do it where someone else can see you.

Unfortunately, it only goes to show that the basic nature of some dancers has changed greatly over the past few years ... to the point that some are now willing to do almost anything in selfish pursuit of the almighty dollar.

Iam actually guilty of taking guys from the stage for dances, but it was usually someone who asked for a dance during my set and I would always tell them to tip the girl on stage before I took him away.
