    Default Hi All!

Nice board!! Just got registered so I'll light up now [lightup]

Forgive me if some of my questions have been recently answered, I didn't read alot of the posts, I'm hurtin for time and I wanted to get this in here.

My wife has always wanted to be a stripper and she has the stuff for it, don't think she'll ever do it though, has another career. We enjoy visiting the local club together but don't get to go as much as we'd like, maybe once a year.

Anyway, she mentioned she wanted a pole at home so she'll get a surprise in about a week, I ordered one today. (8ft brass pole with mounts) Got a good price, around $140. I'll let you know where I got it when it gets here and my CC hasn't been hijacked. She's got a girlfriend from work who may be using our new pole too, just ordered matching halloween costumes for the two if them from Frederics.

    That brings me to my main question;
Tried to order dancer outfits for her, she's 32A but looks much larger because she's so petite otherwise. All the Frederic's stuff starts at a B cup....did a search for stripper/dance clothes and got overwhelmed with the tons of sites that came up.

What are your favorite sites for dance outfits, reasonably priced. (Not afraid to spend, just don't want to overpay) Are there any sites that are better for petite women? Any other tips for a guy buying dancer outfits are MORE than welcome!!! Her girl friend is much easier to buy for but I may get in a bit of trouble if everything I buy only fits her [beat] ......And what type of flooring is best.

    Thanks!!

Hmm, I'd suggest going to a nearby dancewear store and picking it out yourself so you can know it fits. If you order it and it doesn't you can always just use the excuse that you didn't know how big or little they ran . The best flooring is hard, wood or something like that. I think it's so great that you're so supportive of your wife I wouldn't highly recommend fredricks for dance stuff, that's my opinion.
If you think school is hard, try being stupid.

Stripper clothes are small, and they're stretchy. Most clothes will fit a size 2-8. For inexpensive clothes where you won't get ripped off, try trashy.com or lolascostumes.com

    Thanks Bella21!!

Looks like she was one step ahead of me and she doesn't even know I've got a brass pole on order. She went to a local shop yerserday and bought a cute little schoolgirl outfit. Said she bought something that would make my eyes pop out of my head....and she was right, whew!!! I kinda figured that about Frederic's but I thought since I was placing an order anyway.........

    Lena, Layla, and Nichole,

Thanks so much for the sites, I'll check them out. You guys are great, makes me want to slip you a big tip. Gonna try to get some more outfits ordered today.

I would make sure they have a good return policy in case your wife doesn't like it or it doesn't fit.

I personally would rather be able to try things on first. Especially shoes, you never know how they are going to fit.

I just wanted to report back, we got the pole delivered by UPS on Tues. 10/14. Cost with del. for a 8ft. brass pole with top and bottom mounting brackets was $201. Looks like good quality.

The costumes came in from Frederic's and fit both girls nicely. I never got a chance to order more stippper outfits yet.

    Cheers [cheers]
