Default Do you have the average "joe" figured out?

Other than obvious signs, after the fact-- are you able to eye a customer with a quick glance the second they walk into the club and tell if they are going to be:

-wealthy or generous with their money?
    -stingy or cheap?
-wannabe player who knows "everyone" important?
-just a creep who might be a stalker or worse?

    -dig

the best way to tell off a first impression is the watch!

There are exceptions, but you can tell a lot by it. If there's too much bling blinging, it's a sign of a self-important cheapskate. If it's a modest style, but expensive brand, $$$. If it's a digital calculator cheapy....walk away.

    It's a lot of instinct.

Some nights you got it, some you don't.

It does not really matter how much they are willing to spend on stuff like watches and clothes. Some unkempt Mexican men have put down a grand while Mr. 3-Piece Suit only ordered drinks for himself and didn't tip.

In my experience you can never tell who has money or who will be willing to part with it. I have spent time talking to white collar men who go to pay for a $20.00 dance and have a stack of $100 bills in their wallet and not even tip. Then there are customers that look like they have no money and they spend a lot. My best advice is just to take a few mins to talk to a person, and if they aren't going to spend money keep moving.

Nope! I can never tell. First off, you have to be able to tell who has any money at all. Hopefully, if they are here, then it's most of the people. Vegas is nice because people come here to spend money, but there still are cheap people. Second, you have to figure out if you are their type, looks and chemistry wise. Third, why are they here? Are they lonely or here with the buddies for a night of drinking, or both? That can impact the amount of money they spend. I have no way of knowing any of this just by looking at them. So I try to spend time with all. Sometimes the guys dressed the nicest can be the stingiest. Looks can be deceiving.

definitely looks can be deceiving, but when all else being equal, who do you walk up to?

Anyway, my best customer in the last week looked like he'd be poor, but this guy was throwing money around like crazy....very generous.

I walk up to the guys who look at me and show some interest when I am walking by.

Make eye contact and smile. You can tell if they are interested or not from their response
I don't really pay attention to how they are dressed because their personality is where it's at. A lot of the richie rich ones are stingy as heck. That's why they are still rich! I find it takes a lot of patience to talk to some of these ones cause they want to BS, but not tip or buy dances. I also hate when a guy starts asking me about other girls (is she married, does she have a BF?)... then I am like, okay....outta here!

No. I can't tell. The guy may look grunge, but be a doctor. You just can't by looks alone. Or get an older sloppy drunk who has money to burn!

Ya' know, I just might be crazy-- but how about all you ladies put together a training video? lol.. Kind of do a spin on one of those old 60's high school education movies-- "bobby walks into the club wearing red pants and white penny loafers, should melinda sue approach him, or should she ignore him and go talk to timmy"

Watches and shoes are good indications of money. But, having money, spending money, and spending money on ME are all different things. I mostly choose men who appear to be over thirty and make good eye contact with me.

The only thing that I've learned to tell for sure about a guy when they first walk in is whether or not they will be creepy or pervy. (Now I don't mean the good kind of perv. You know the ones who become our best customers ..........No, I'm talking about the pervs who try to slip a finger in or the ones who just want you to come home with them and dont care that this is a job for us.)
I can almost always spot them right away, no matter how they are dressed. It's just a feeling I get when I approach their table. I get all nervous and feel sick to my stomach even before they say hello. It's really weird, but it's pretty accurate.

Sort of off topic, but does anyone else ever find themselves looking at a man outside the club, and subconsciously thinking about how many dances they could get from him?
Dancing is wonderful training for girls, it's the first way you learn to guess what a man is going to do before he does it. ~Christopher Morley, Kitty Foyle

damn i can't beleive some guy try to pull that kind of shit!

some need to reaize its justa game and the dancer makes the rules! (hey if she doens't swat my hands away cool!, if she does of well!) Pay to play and enjoy the ride! Nothign more nothing less! You ladies are there to make money and we're there to give it to you cus ya make us smile (about the only other time i get a HUGE shit eating grin like at strip is when i'm on the track racing and winning).

FYI i'm 23 and generally piss away a few hundred bucks every time i go to a strip joint. But i wear a cheap watch (tired of loosing/breaking good watches) and cheap shoes (i like to be confortable).

lemme just ad in, allowing the customer to touch (not just sit there like a chiar and get ridden, but reciprocate a lil) is one thing, but for any asshole to eventhink it would be ok to even try to "slip one in" on a woman he doessnt even know! what a dick!

hey ladies i personally think in that kind of situation you shoudl totally be allowed to use thos egiant shoes of yoru to your advantage and kick them in the nuts for pulling that kind of shit! (make em puke!)

Whoa, boy! Settle down. The context was talking about perverts. They are few and far between (not the norm).

I think looks are very decieving in any business, not just strip clubs. I mean, look at Ted Bundy. He was a great looking law student who could charm the pants off anyone and he was a serial killer. Not meaning to be morbid but you can never judge a book by it's cover.
