    Default Hustler's Beaver Hunt

I have decided to enter the Hustler magazine Beaver Hunt. For those of you who don't know what that is it where women send in there nude pics to the magazine that are published. If your photo is published you get 250. Then you are considered for the grand prize for a hustler Photo spread and get paid 5,000! To me that is alot for doing not that much and I think it would be fun. Not to mention professional photos of me forever. Honestly I have seen some of the girls they publish in the the gallery section of the magazine and some of them in my opinion are not that pretty. If nothing eles I am pretty sure I am good looking enough to get the 250 considering I make a living off of my looks. Well wish me luck! Mabey you will see me in Hustler!!

Good luck Lilac! You are very pretty and should do well. It would be cool if we could all vote for you some how, like an online poll. I know you would have lots of supporters from here! Let us know what happens!

A dancer at my favorite club was published in Hustler's Beaver Hunt feature, then she won for the month and quarter and they did a couple professional photo shoots of her in L.A. The photo features were really nice. She was up for the annual grand prize but never heard anything on it. Also, there was supposed to be a way to vote online, but we weren't able to determine how. Anyway, she had a lot of fun with it and made some good money. Good luck, and let us know how you do!

michele is absolutley right. dont blackball yourself at your age. you never know you may decide youd like playboy in a few years. and theres no turning back. its trying to become julia roberts or susan sarandon with a trail of porn in your backgound. dont get me wrong there are a lot of former strippers doing great in showbiz but it will make it more difficult for yoyu to go further. is 250 really worth that

That is good advice Lilac. With your looks I would encourage you to try Playboy first and then if that does not pan out send some pics to Penthouse. And only then do the Hustler thing.

How many times do I have to rave about how hot you are before you believe the old man?

I am pretty much positve that is correct. In fact for the most part Playboy I think likes women who have never had pics posted anywhere before.

Think of it from Playboys view. They are number one, if they post a Playmate of the Month who was a Hustler Honey or Pet, before that makes them look like less then the leader.

And I still say, this girl has got the goods to be a Playmate. Hey Lilac, if you get Playmate of the year sometime I will expect a ride in your brand new Pink car they give you, ok?

Xmarx isn't that Mary Kay products that gives high sellers the pink car

And actually Lilac go to (ok can't get the site to highlight) There is a place where women can send in their pictures and if PB likes the look they contact you. At least that is what i was told.

Good luck with Hustler or whatever one you choose!!!

this might be true for a potential playmate, but I'm quite positive is not a rule across the board. Playboy offers lots of different opportunities in addition to their mag. Video work as well as TV work. I auditioned for the weather bunny spot (which was a 2 year contract at 75K a year) One of the other auditioners was recently on the cover of Hustler. Of course I don't know if that negatively impacted her.

LIlac have you sent your pics into Playboy? How close are you to LA? Playboy TV is a viable option too. I agree with everyone else saying start at the top then work your way down.

In any event good luck you're way hotter than most of the honey's I've seen!

I heard that in Playboys contract they state that the girls can not dance in clubs for a certain amount of time after there photo is published or whatever, again I dont know if this is just for playmates or for anyone, but it is somthing to think about. I personally would rather just do Playboy and not dance but there would probally be more money in Hustler and I know they incourage there "honeys" to feature.

Hey guys thank you for all the encouragement! Also the compliments expecialy you xmark. You really are too kind. You know thank you for the advice that I might get blackballed. I would much rather do Penthouse. I love there glossy pictorials. I guess I never really thought I would even consider Playboy an option. They usually only phograph girls with blond hair/light complection. I know they occasionaly have girls with dark hair/eyes but rarely so I didn't even really consider it. Penthouse has alot of brunettes (infact the Penhouse pet of the year is a brunette) So I guess I thought that I would have a better chance expecially with Hustler because they have a whole range of looks in there magazine. But I definatly do not want to ruin any chances of geting into Penthouse! I guess I will start with Playboy and then Penthouse. I also have a couple questions if you guys have any info on this I would so appreciate your help!

    1. How do I get started? Do I send in Professional Photos to the magazine? Or are regular Poloriods acceptable?

    2. If they have to be professional photos how do I find a Photographer in my area who will due nudes? How will I know if they are not creepy? How much do they usually charge?

    3. How much will Playboy/ Penthouse charge for a pictorial? I live in Minnesota. Will they fly me out to California for the shoot? If I am only getting 5k for the spread and I have to spend 2,000 for airfare plus other expenses I do not know how worth it it is to me.

4 Anonoymity is somewhat important to me. Can I make up a fake name if the choose to publish photos of me? I dont really want my parents finding out.

    Thanks so much guys!!

    HI Lilac,

If you don't want your family to find out then my advice is not to pose for any pics for any magazine. This stuff has a way of coming back and if it will bother you don't do it. Just free advice and it is worth every penny it costs.

I look at it this way, the people at Playboy are pros, they are not fooled by a pro done glossy pic because they KNOW what can be done with them if anyone does. I am a musician and no one fools me at how good of a musician they are by playing me a high dollar demo, believe me.

I suspect what they want is good clear, well lighted photos that show the real you. Playboy loves the wholesome, to die for girl next door look and you have got that in spades, and that is the old perv next door talking so I am an expert. LOL

There are lots of photogs who will work on a trade for model time basis if you ask around. Check with local photo clubs perhaps or something like that.

Or even try having your BF or someone take some nice clear and classy shots to send to Playboy, you may be surprised.

Pamela, I bet they don't do it anymore but in the old days, 60's. 70's when I was only about 90 years old, Playboy used to give a pink sportscar to the Playmate of the year as part of the prize.

I will never forget Marylin Lange won a pink Volvo 1800 both her and the car are etched in my memory for ever. And by the way Lilac, she was a Brunette.

Anyone with a memory should be very humble.

If you are sending in a pictorial to playboy, make sure they are professional photos, playboy will throw away polaroids with out even looking,as for pent house, what you can do is a complete layout as would in the magazine because penthouse will put it in the magazine as is if they like it and give the photographer recognition,so you will probably not have to pay for those photos if hes and up and coming and whats to build recognition, ask around for a good photographer I am sure there are some in your area, also if penthouse uses the layout you send I think they give you like 5,000 and you dont have to go anywere,or they may want to shoot you w/their own photogs and you will go there for the shoot and you will get more than 5,000 Iam not sure the exact amount though and playboy usually pays 20,000 and up for centerfolds but less for specialty issues.

there's a page on the playboy pages with tips how to take the best pictures at home to send in...so maybe they don't have to be that professional?
    but I can't come up with the link right now...but it's there..somewhere

Last I heard/read, Penthouse is on the verge of bankruptcy and have actually missed issues.

I have a friend who was a Playboy Cybergirl. She said the best thing to send in was polaroids because no alternations could be done to them. In professional shots you could have them airbrushed and then send them in and they don't want that. They want to see the true you.

Since you have opposing advice here, I think you should check out the web site and call anyone you might have to in order to find the best way to send in pictures.

Yes, kobi is right, I talked to a friend of mine who was in the magazine. She found out about it at their website, go to www.playboy.com and click on playmates then click on how to become one. She sent in photos she took of herself, and they tell you the requirments(front shot, ect) on the website. They also give you tips on how to take them or have your bf take them. They also give an address to send them in to. Hope this helps.

Playboy does not need professional photos. In fact, when you show up at the studio, the casting director takes polaroids of you!

Yes, they want a head shot, full body front and full body back. They also take a closeup of the kitty but I doubt that's required for submission.

Well I have done stuff for playboy and so have around 5 of my friends and we sent in profesional photos,if they like you,you will be asked to come in to do a test shoot, were yes they will take polaroids, but this is for centerfolds and certain specialty issues like the girls of summer, blondes ,brunettes and red heads, and stuff like and my experience was around 8 years ago so it may have changed, infact I did my test shoots in the chicago head quarters, they may not do them there anymore.
