Neptune, don't worry.
Consider the jokes you would get if you picked one planet in either direction. Uranus...won't touch that, (oops, maybe I would, but I'd get smacked :o). And Pluto.
Anyway tell them you are god of the sea, but then again you do not have a long beard.
I always thought the best character of a name was ease of remembering it. Familiar helps but, like an actress or model, or sounds-like names. Neptune has ease of remembering, and association with out-of-this-world is a plus not a minus. Astronaut names would be a no-no--Armstrong, Aldrin, and Collins would never work. Astrological names are frequently good. Same with places and names in song titles.
I always wondered about the effectiveness of a totally off the wall silly names. I have wondered about they effectiveness of pun-names.
Taking the real name and twisting it to spice it up works too for some, Helps with the remember factor cause when you tell them the real thing, they have been hit with essentially the same thing twice.

I felt so bad. I could never dance to that name because of it, but I think it is a beautiful name.
I like them both, it's so hard to choose. If I were to add a last name I think I would go with Riley Roberts or Chloe Cameron. Maybe??? Dunno??
