    Default long dresses

I just started at a new club thats gowns only. Now, i know what is and isn't allowed, but i was wondering if anyone had any advice about picking long dresses. My old club was very much the hot pink miniskitrs metallic booty shorts type of place and now that i'm given the classy ok i don't know where to start. Anyone had really good luck with any certain gown features like color or slit location or neckline types? Don't worry i know to stay away from assymetrical stuff. Thanks so much for everyones help both on this and on the dozens of other "Help me" posts i've written. I really love being a part of this forum!!!

I can offer a bit of advice here- look for gowns that come off easy, stay away from zippers and buttons. Skirt slits- my fav was a front only slit up to above the knee- always had this mermaid feel
but side split are easier to find by far- Back only splits look nice on the right figure but are hard to move in and get out of.... getting out of the gown gracefully is the most important part.

Accessories- you can dress up and change a simple long dress/gown if you accessories well. Some good basic's to have are:

Chokers - a black ribbon, a rhinestone and a pearl one-

Gloves- long in black and white

Stockings- you don't need a garter belt- they never stay on right anyway, just buy the ones with the grips- sheer w/back seams are always a hit-
and if you can pull it off tiny fishnets are hot and last a long time too.

Halter neck lines flatter most all shapes and often you can hide a bikini top under them if your doing a 3 song set.

I luv costumes so if I can help just ask

I have a ton of gowns with different looks to them here:

Personally, I prefer to wear gowns. I wear gowns with thigh highs and very high slits on the gown. If it isn't too much I wear matching gloves. Also, a nice rhinestone necklace or choker is a nice accessory. Very classy looking. Guys love it.

Best thing you can do is get to a good stripper store and start trying on gowns. Try on as many different kinds as you can, and don't be afraid of asking for the clerk's opinion on what looks good on you. You'll see pretty quickly what kinds look best on you. As far as specific advice, I would only say to stay away from double-slit gowns (slit on both sides) - when you move around and bend over they wind up looking like too much stuff hanging between your legs....not good and very tacky. Also, since so many girls tend to wear the standard black, red or white, look for alternate colors that suit your skin and hair coloring because if you're in a club where everyone is wearing long gowns you want something that will help you stand out. Less common colors, sequins, feathers, printed fabric, etc.

depends on your build and your look. i ONLY wear black or white or denim. i have an exaggerated look lots of makeup and big pamela anderson hair. i do not need brigt colors rhinstones or feathers to stand out this would send me over to the tammy faye look! however more simple looks straight hair little makeup can balance out a hot pink gown.

I worked at a club like this and you might be surprised at what you can get away with. I was able to wear gowns that were longer in the back and shorter in the front or that cute angle thing, even just below the knee was ok. Ask the house mom (?) for the specifics.
