Default drinks at work and Og's.

As you all know,I will be starting Og's on Monday and I was curious about something. I am not a huge drinker but I am wondering if I am able to go up to the bar and buy a drink while I am on shift. It might make me feel more comfortable if I had a drink, being a newbie and all. I know the customers are known to buy you a drink but I just wanted to be able to buy myself a drink to calm my nerves. Thanks guys,
    Alex

Yes, you are aloud to drink at work, just don't turn it into a habit! I personally work better sober. I know some girls can turn into alcoholics from this job. You can also make better judgements sober.

if you can do it without drinking, PLEASE DON'T DRINK!

This is one thing I see a lot that is really depressing....girls that need alcohol to even start the night. Seriously, find the courage from within. It will be easier with alcohol, and that will never change, so it's hard to stop drinking for a lot of girls. The job isn't easy. You always have to pretend to be happy when you're not and you have to flirt with some really ugly guys. If you can't do that sober, you're in the wrong business. I'm not saying this to be a bitch; I'm saying this because this is something I'm particularly passionate about and even though I know it sounds silly since I barely know you, I don't want you to get hurt. There are so many girls that use it as a crutch and like Kobi said, way too many alcoholics.

The other night I saw a girl crying in the dressing room because she realized she was an alcoholic and it's so sad. She comes in every day with a hangover. there are others that hate the job so much and they use alcohol to escape reality. Love yourself enough to face the job for what it really is. It's truly a battle worth fighting.

    Besides, who needs the calories?

    Thanks you guys,
I am not a big drinker anyway but that is definitley one of my concerns about this business. I just wanted to have one maybe just to help me on my first night. But you are right. If I need one just to start I might make it a habit and have to have one every night. And the last thing I need is to be working my butt off every night and blowing my money on alcohol. I need to treat this job just like any other job and all my other jobs I wasn't allowed to drink at work. I am still nervous as Hell.
    Thanks guys

i dont think there is a damn thing wrong with having a drink or two on your first night. or any other night for that matter as long as you dont overdo.
    As quoted by Luckyone:
I asked directions from a genie in a bottle of jim beam and she lied to me.

It depends on how many girls are there. There have been some nights at OG's where I never went on stage. Some nights I danced twice. Usually never more than that if you work the night shift. A lot of times it was well into the night before I even got on stage. When you get there watch the girls that are on stage for awhile to see what they do. Go talk to a customer and tell him it is your first night and you are nervous and wanted someone to sit and talk with. After a few minutes of conversation, ask him if you could give him your very first lapdance. I can't see him saying no to that, but if he does, go try the same thing on someone else. Its easy!
