Any guy who wads up a $ and throws it at a women needs his a$$ kicked, plain and simple. That is absolutely a no class way to show your appreciation for the hard work and talent on the stage.
Do what a former GF of mine did, after some of these clowns rolled up $ and threw them at her, she made sure to walk by the guy later after remembering to focus on his clothes, hair, etc, and accidently spilled her cocktail on him. She made sure she spilled it on his shoulder or back and then said, " Sorry"......
I find it disrespectful.
What pisses me off more is that.here in canada we have coins for 1's and 2's.Having them trown at you realy pisses me off.I send them back.sometimes at their head.
I have heard of men heating them up with a lighter first.
You say psycho like it's a bad thing

I have a rule at my bar - "If you cant fold it, don't give it to me".I find it disrespectful.

I have to agree with those with who declare it a regional thing. A few years back I was in Calgary, Alberta, and a bunch of us went to a nude club, and the chucking of loonies and twonies ($1 and $2 Canadian coins, respectively) was not only approved, but encouraged! The dancers would usually do a themed song on their first song or two, then work their way around the stage for the rest of their set, placing a plastic cup either between the breasts or between their legs (the belly serving as a "backboard"). Guys would try to make a basket to earn a free autographed poster. Amazingly, most guys didn't stop at one or two shots...so you'd have guys chucking maybe $10, $15 toward the cup.
Saw a documentary on Spearmint Rhino in the UK and one of the dancers had a regular who would do the showering of bills, with £20 notes (US equivalent of $34). I never really got into that personally; I think it's a needless display (especially with $1 notes; I'd rather spend $20 on a lapdance than toss twenty $1s on stage).
"Women, not girls, rule my world" - Prince
"No parking on the dance floor" - Midnight Star
I know the guy who used to do that and it was thousands but it was like once a year rather than every week like they tried to make out.
Still nice to have!
