    Default crush on a customer

I broke the #1 rule... I have a crush on a customer named Thomas. (Doh) He is the cutest thing I have ever seen. I have seen him 3 times now, last night being the 3rd. I never ask him for a dance, just make lovey eyes at him and act like a freaking teenager. There is an obvious attraction but niether of us knows the rules about that kind of thing. I am NEVER like this about guys. Shit, I'm losing my edge!

    What to do??.... [love] [love]

It is a job, honey. It is not usually a good rule to go for a customer. If He asks you to meet him somewhere besides the club, then you might consider it after seeing him there a few more times. Meanwhile, shake your moneymaker! Do what you do best!

We've only spoken like.... once... ever, so we are not even close to meeting outside the club. That probably won't even come up anyway because he seems like the shy type. He always comes in with friends and I never see him get dances but he always tips... pretty well, too. His freinds are big spenders and a lot of fun but he just kinda lays low. Ugh... I can't stop thinking about him. DAMNIT!

Should I ask him for a dance next time??

Is this even ok? Should I look at him as a guy or a big fat dollar sign?

i'd say go for screw askin him for dance, give him your number and ask for his!

I knew if i went to a strip joint and that happened to me it would prolly be one of the high-points of my day. Just ake sure you don;t ask for a dance or for money make it pretty obvious its not a sales technique.

I have to agree with puder. If you wanted his money, you'd be asking for it. You want more. He's not YOUR customer....go for it!

I did that last night....such a rush! I met a guy (first time) and OMG....totally my type, so friggen HOT. Anyway, I couldn't muster up the hustler in me to ask him for a dance but at the same time, I wasn't getting up to talk to other customers. At last call when I had to go upstair I gave him that look of "I really don't want to leave you"....anyway, long story, short. We had sex. It was actually kind of disappointing, but he was so hot!

WOAH EMILY...... HOLD THE PHONE!!! How did you manage to talk to him? Did you know him before? You met him for the first time last night? AAAAAH. I'm such a big ol' wimp. I hope he comes in tonight! I'm going to go for it!

I totally do not want his money. And I hope he doesnt ask me for a dance, that would ruin my whole love story I have going on in my head! He's the cutest. You should see how rediculous I look right now just thinking about talking to him. God I'm a nerd! AAAHAHAHAH!!

No, I didn't know him. I just went up to talk to him like I do any old customer. it was partially the right time and place. I just decided to brak up with my boyfriend and you know....helps you get over a guy to have sex with another! It was partially that he was so sexy.

I didn't ask him though. I mean, I flirted with him, but I flirt with everyone there because that's my job. I don't know if he got the hint that I was sincerely attracted to him or he was just trying to get laid like any ol' lameass customer but he said to me something like we should go to his place and fuck our brains out and I said "OK!" and smiled.

Oh my god I would die if this kid asked to go back to his house and get it on. I would be up, changed, and out the freaking door in 2.5 seconds! he seems pretty shy so I don't think it's going to get that good but you never know.

If he comes in I'll be sure to update you!

    So the sex was bad?
Don't you hate that? Ugh. pisses me off just thinking about it.

I did that once, had a one night stand with a guy from the club, but I didn't see him at the club the night it happened. I met him at the club and saw him out at a bar the next week. The sex was less that acceptable. SO dissappointing. Sorry babe!

Just like you are different outside the club, customers are different outside the club.

    Just think about it.

I have to agree with Lena and Jordan on this one. Having a "one night stand" with a customer simply because he is HOT is one thing (and I won't go into any further discussion, because raising the subject of "dancer having sex with customer after club closes" is always controversial). But trying to establish a genuine relationship with a customer is virtually impossible.

Time and time again, dancers allowing actual or perceived relationships to form with customers has led to serious conflicts. If the girl wants to continue dancing but the customer gets possessive, this can create all sorts of problems with the dancer's other customers, destroy her earnings potential etc. If the girl wants to "sever" whatever relationship the customer thinks might exist but the guy isn't ready to let go, this can lead to interference in the dancer's personal life, stalking, or even worse (see dancer's body found in dumpster thread).

For your own safety, as well as for the sake of your earnings potential and your sanity, I highly recommend avoiding forming relationships of any sort with customers. In my own case, I only adopt my "Melonie" persona while I'm driving to the club, and I drop it during the drive home (alone)! Girls who fail to maintain a strong separation between their dancing persona and their actual personal life face a high risk of falling into "the life " (i.e. dance, party, sleep, dance again), and potentially all of the problems that go along with it.

Please forgive me for preaching, but I had worked with the dancer whose body was found in a dumpster.
