    Default SCORES scale confusion

Hi. There are a lot of posts about ladies being 6's or 8's etc. I have heard it referred to as the Scores scale. What are these standards based on? How do you know what number you are or if you could even qualify for a club based on it? I ask because I would not mind going to a very upper eschelon club and working.

I won't take offense to any remarks, I promise. I just hope to set the record straight.

Hi there ! I just took a look at your pics and you are just lovely and exotic looking

The Scores scale is certainly subjective..... so it is hard to explain. I worked at Scores and a number of other upper ( another subjective term) class clubs. So I'll give you my point of view if it helps......

You might get hired at Scores- it would depend on your body, your face, smile etc are wonderful ~ !

I think you would do well at Delliah's in Philly as well as Pure Platnium in Ft Lauderdale. I think you'd do well at cheetah in Atlanta as well ~!
    All nice upscale clubs....

my view of dancers here that have pics who would rate a 8-10 in anyones book are for example :

Sexybooty and Kobi- [dazzled] two totally different looks.

Both are would get hired at Scores no question.
    Does that help any?

And also Riotgirl has a great face and probably does well with her alternative look. It isn't necesarry to be Barbie or Cindy Crawford.

I say if your interested in working the gown club scene go for it, you have a good shot at not only getting hired but doing well.

As I understand it, the SCORES scale was originally invented by customers at SCORES in Manhattan to relatively describe dancers at various NYC clubs. One well publicized SCORES customer, Howard Stern, gave the SCORES scale national publicity by judging the physical attributes of girls that appeared on his show using this scale. Stern's on the air ratings of various girls are really the only "objective" point of comparison as to what constitutes an 8 versus a 10 - which was still far from being "objective" IMHO.

As to what criteria clubowners in general use to make hiring decisions regarding new dancers, these days the dancer's SCORES rating is rather blurry. With today's poor economy, other factors come into play which perhaps would not have been an issue a few years ago - i.e. a dancer's willingness to pay very high stage fees/percentages to the club, a dancer's willingness to provide high contact levels, a dancer's willingness to work shifts on slow nights as well as busy nights etc. The SCORES club itself has even been forced to "change" its own standards in light of somewhat reduced earnings potential over the past year, the opening of the Penthouse Executive Club as direct competition for upscale/celebrity club customers in Manhattan etc.

Clubs and clubgoers in other cities also quickly began to apply a "bell curve" factor to the local ratings scale based on percentages of girls/dancers in their city who actually looked a certain way. Thus an "L.A. ten" is not the same rating as an "El Paso ten" or an "Atlantic City ten" just to pick some random cities to illustrate the point.

    Juliet....I'm a little confused.

What are the right kind of breasts for upscale clubs? implants only?

And Britney Spears would not be considered Scores material?

Thats a bunch of malarky,I have worked at all of the top clubs across the U.S. as well and the scle verys,I have seen girls w/poor skin and absolutley horrible implants in many a number of the upscale clubs I have worked in and as to what one club manager may consider a 8 or 9 -10 is different as to their own oppinoins, everyone is not going to think the same in terms of ratings of a particular girl and pretty much now a days clubs are letting anyone work whenever they want,as long as your at least an 8 and as far as selma hayak and nicloe kidman being 10s,are you kidding on my scale their maybe 8s,so as you see the scale is to each his own,I had a friend who was gorgeous, looked like bobbie brown w/small boobs and another friend who had an olive oil look, actually she looked almost just like kate jackson, also small boobs, well she got hired at scores the other girl did not,go figure and this was back when all the girls were mostly 9s and 10s,the days of the stricly 9-10s are over I see way too many 7s and 8s now a days in the upscale clubs and this is like 5 years now.

I take it tattoos totally throw it off, even if the girl has a very pretty face and a toned curvaceous shape??

Yes tattoos are a detriment if you want to work the most upscale clubs. They will either not hire you or make you cover them. If you have too many or they are too big, your chances are lower than if you only have a couple small tats, for example. Of course that's all relative too, and in the current environment, even that rule gets somewhat relaxed at times.

I'd agree that '10' is a state of mind - FOR THE CLUBOWNER/MANAGER who decides whether or not to hire you !
