Default What do you want to do after dancing?

Hey girls I just wanted to know what everyone's next carrer goal is? I absoultly love dancing and but I realise there is going to come a time when it just isn't going to give me the same type of income or I just get sick of it and the shoes (ha ha) Are any of you going to school? For what? Or do you plan to dance until you retire? I am going to school now and hope to become a personal trainer or something in the fitness realated field. I am sure going to miss dancing when I'm done that is why since I am only twenty one I have time to enjoy it. But dreaming about my future carrer also gets me excited. Hopefully I will love it as much as dancing!

I just want to have a bunch of family around me and a garden to play in. Oh, and maybe a good place to go hiking everyday.

I am doing it actually, very soon in fact - Have a baby
It was important to me to be a stay at home Mom. Dancing allowed me/us to make enough money to be able to do that. With our home paid in full and some investments under our belt we can live quite nicely on his salary and I can now be Betty Crocker

I already work at a hospital. Do some private strip parties, still. (No club dancing anymore, too many years, lol.)

At the hospital i mainly deal with families of patients. We have a trauma level 2. Which is great! Hope to be a 1 in a few years.

Anyway, i do very much want to help catch child sex offenders online. I inquired about this, and would need training so i do not do the "entrapment thing."

Time is a problem. But i read a book called "Katie Dot Com" and that girl inspired me to want to do this as well.

As You all would know this starts in a teen chat, or even adult room and become under age, let the guy do ALL the hitting on me, and build a "friendship" untill he wants to meet me (and he has to be explicit about the meeting..sex of some sort.) thats when a police officer goes instead.

I will be monitored, and not allowed to do this from my house, if i get involved.

Retirement, pure and simple. 100% of my time available to work in my garden, play around with new recipes, indulge my spiritual side, spend time with my extended family, or just sleep or read or watch videos all day if I feel like it. Cut my workouts back from 60-90 minutes to 30-45 minutes. Maybe even have my boobs reduced to a cup size in the first half of the alphabet.

No more live dancing (which I now do very little of anyhow), no more website, no more modeling or videos, no more fan emails! The only "work" related activity I'll still have to do is to manage my investments.

Depending on exactly what the economy does in regard to my investments, and exactly what my son wants to do in regard to his college, I'm maybe one year away from total retirement !!!!!

I never would have said such a thing say maybe ten or even 5 years ago but I want to be a devoted wife, have a child and just breath in the normality of love and life. I love cooking, and gardening and the rythm of being part of a unit, a family - I look forward to that.

I want to (and in the midst of the schooling for a time now) enter into the social services system in some capacity or another.
I just have this overwhelming need to help. It completely occupies me....and I have always been like this except now that I am older - even more so. United way - runaways - anything just let me help.

Thats all I really wanna do. Travelled alot already, seen too much, want to see some good stuff for the rest of my life.

I am looking to retire now. I have achieved my degrees, a BA in business, and an AA in accounting. Just floating my resumes out there, hoping to get a nibble. I would like to be at home in the evenings for my kindergarten daughter, and baby on the way, help with homework, tuck them into bed and say the prayers. Cuddle with my hubby, watch the evening news, finally have the weekends free to do fun family activities..and yell at my three VERY bad dogs

Until you start a family, you really don't take into consideration how much dancing can rob you of lifes little pleasures and special moments. For the past years, I have had to miss out on taking my daughter trick or treating on Hallowen, missed Thanksgiving with my family members, Valentine and anniversary dates with my husband, and family and class reunions, all because they fell on a night that I could not afford to miss...Thur, Fri, or Sat.

Thanks for starting this thread, I find it inspirering, reminds me to keep reaching for my personal brass ring, which is being surrounded by people I love. [couple]

Retirement, pure and simple. 100% of my time available to work in my garden,

Can I watch? I have seen pics of you working in your garden before!

Just kidding Mel, I also like to work in the garden. I do mostly flowers, just simple stuff but we also raise our own tomatos, and there is nothing like fresh ones you raised yourself!

I am jealous, I have been saving for years but I will still have to work for another 15 years or so before I can really retire, especially with what the last couple years did to my stocks etc.
    :o

But like they say, at least I have stocks to worry about huh? And also I LOVE my job, there is nothing I would rather do than what I do for a living right now and that is worth a lot. (Who else gets to take their three dogs to work with them?) (And then chat with a bunch of gorgeous strippers all day to boot!) LOL
Anyone with a memory should be very humble.
