I have just read that thread and excuse my language but what a f u c k i n g arsehole! What is his problem if it is now a legal case as he is claiming then he shouldnt not be posting anything relative to it on a public forum.and btw you can do him for defamation of character.

Personally i would do him in the non-legal way see if the 'family' backs him as he gets his head kicked in!I am really sorry to come across as so aggresive but i hate BULLIES and that guy is definetly one.And to imploy such below the belts tactics such as intimidation is just so aggravating.

    OMG what a prick!

oh wow Chelle - what a buncha friggin looney tunes.

I mean its not like as if she spent 5,000 she spent just a few hundred!
Big deal - what lawyer is going to do anything short of barking laughter into their faces over the whole thing?

She may try small claims court but it'll only screw her up time-wise having to return for the date of court - and anyway you made more than enough effort to compensate - so I dont even think they would have a chance at making any kind of case on the whole issue - be sure to print out all this slander and accusations on any of the sites - hers included.

I really would stop any and all communication private or on posting boards *anything* and all of it. And keep a record of all her contact she has made with you or about you.

You are gonna be just fine - and they way she behaved who's gonna take her word for anything - she's a friggin retard.

They sound like no brain bumf--ks, I hope everything works out for you Chelle, and please do print out all the slander they've posted, just in case you need it to prove what a bunch of mindless, sue-happy, bottom feeders, they are.

Oh Chille, just read their forum and seriously girl, you are showing way too much significance with regard to these illiterate con artists.

The only way to get through to this sort would be to speak to them in a language they're sure to understand. From what they've posted on an open forum, I can tell you without doubt, this language has nothing to do with legalities.

If the thread is any indicater of their level of proffesionalism, she won't be a feature for long, as club owners, agencies and other material related vendors won't tolerate that kind of behaavior. I can already see the conversation now...

Thank you all so much... I can't tell you what your support has meant to me. I have printed off all correspondance they have sent to me as well as the threats on the ed forum.
I have also contacted thet moderators there to see if they will remove the thread. we will see.... The costumer they are reffering to is Jacque' she does alot of feature stuff I think.

My only regret is that I was stupid nough to believe they were on the level... I have definitely learned my lesson on alot of things from this.

Hopefully this is the end they will have recieved the balance of their money $175.00 as of Tuesday and I have requested they return the entire costume...as I have already losta great deal of money in shipping and supplies hopefully they will return the costume and it is not trashed beyond repair. This seems to be their vindictive nature. Say.......anyone interested in a one of a kind white indian princess costume...............

    hugs to all!!!

DenverD , I think the white turkey look is very in this year...lol any way they are now knocking "elle" on ED so beware of these people that is all I have to say. I have tried very hard not to be a part of the big name calling thing.. just want to clear my name, hopefully keep some of my customers and move on without to much more of this fiasco.

I am feeling a bit better know that I know that I have support I have been kind of a mess lately. To everyone who has contacted me personally regarding this mess I thank you again...and for those of you here who have shown your suport and comments publicly I truly appreciate the thoughts ... and last but not least to "elle" thank you for going there and voicing your comments...

You know, if it wasn't for the fact that this whole thing was hurtful to Chelle it would just be funny.

The "Free Speach coalition"? (Don't they fight against the injustice of peach slavery or something like that?)

"Everyone SEE'S us there"? (Evidently his eyes own all that he sees?)

    "Shoty" Such shoddy spelling.

"Mesurements"? (I wonder why it does not fit if they took the "mesurements" that Chelle had to work from?)

"RECIVE"? Oh yeah, that is the way that rule goes, "I before E except before C, unless you decide to leave out the E completely".

Give back the money and move on Chelle it is not worth your time or worry any more. [beamup]

What a bizarre gathering of crap - Chelle, baby - just shake your head and move on.
Not worth your time thoughts and efforts to appease - she is just a fricken useless uneducated trailer park dwelling beer cans for rollers kinda waste of time low end wanna be feature anyhow - and whatever she may have to say wont be worth the breath she spews - I mean really - who's gonna listen?

And who ever might listen are in the same catagory...no big loss.

Move on, deep breath, and business as usual babe....

Thank you very much Leigh for the support and of course special thanks to "Elle" who has posted on my behalf at the other forum.

"As it's now Sept 16th I wondered did you ever get the costume back? If so did they send everything you sent, including the free stuff ? Raelene "

To date I have not of course recieved the costume back. Which I really did not expect to anyway as they have shown what type of people they are. I did however ask the moderator of that board to remove the thread completely, twice actually, but of course as that board really seems to thrive on that type of nastiness it is still there. I have also emailed the customer directly to request the costume back. But no respose there either.

I just responded at that board that I have never hidden behind anyone and have always responded to their comments directly as they have posted to me. I do however find it kind of funny that they in one breath basically told everyone that they could no longer communicate on the matter and yet found the need to make their bashing so continually harrassive there.

I guess if I really wanted to get nasty I could send a registered letter requesting the costume back but I just feel that that would prolong this even further. As far as I am concered they stole my merchandise and I guess I am just at a total loss as far it is concerned. I will however mention here just as I mentioned there I have never had a problem with the costruction of my costumes, and may not have been doing complete feature costumes for very long but I have done many individual pieces that have endured about 10-12 years of constant use by the original buyer or by people they have sold them to.

I thank you all again for taking the time to read and post your support again, my reputation there is absolutely ruined which is what they wanted. I will be continuing my feature work but will have a hard time I am sure trying to get that part of my business built up as I am so new to letting everyone know I am avaiulbale and it is such a select market anyway.

Sorry for such a long winded reply just basically my way of venting I guess.

    Chelle,
I've actually read a thread on another site in which the people that you are talking about threatened you and said HORRIBLE things about you. I am sorry that these bad things are happening to you, however, you did make a promise to them and you didn't keep it. I am a business owner of another kind (I make wedding cakes), but still the kind of business where time and quality are of the essence. In my opinion you must bust your a$$ to fix this..... send the customers ANY and ALL money they invested (deposits, shipping, all of it). Remember, YOU screwed up, not them... why should the customer have to lose money for your failing? Send it Western Union, send it RIGHT AWAY. Call them, apologize and tell them the location nearest to their address where they can pick up the money. This will show them that even though you messed up, you own up to it and after that point, even if you get no further business from their area, they cannot add to the list of bad things they are saying about you that you didn't refund the money. The most important part of a business such as yours is CUSTOMER SERVICE. Word of mouth is what runs a business like yours, so the words have to be good.
Bright Blessings to you and yours,

I nearly forgot this part, when you tell them were to pick up the money, politely request that they send the costume back to you. Reimburse shipping if you have to. But, honestly, don't be suprised if you never see it again. Chelle, as a business owner, all I can say is backpedal in every way you can to rectify this. Stay OUT of court...it's too expensive! A situation like this could sink your business, so put ego and pride aside and do whatever you must!

Rose thank you for your response however All monies have been returned to them already. I have done all that I can to appologise for the situation. These are just very nasty people who can not be made happy. They have never been been at any loss. The only portion of the situation that I lied about was one piece of the costume that was not sent when it was suposed to be. I was never given a chance to remedy that situation before they publically attacked me. I have never had a problem handling the customer service. The problem occured on Friday afternoon ad I was attacked on Sunday. with no time in between. They resorted to threats and bashing before I could even fix the problem. I point blank admitted the mistake and have made every effort to make good.

    Chelle

PS in spite of their comments about me yelling at them when they called me that is definely not true. I was in shock that something I had spent three days constructing ( head dress, hand beaded etc.) could have been lost by fed ex. I feel that a good portion of this issue had to do with bad communication. But as I mentioned before I have tried very hard to make everything right and have never stooped to name calling or bashing to get anything from any one as a patron.

    Hi Rose,

If you had been following all this from the beginning I think you would see that Chelle has worked her butt off to make this right but these people are just not going to be made happy.

I have been in business for almost thirty years and there are times when the customer is not right, the customer is just out of control and cannot be pleased. This seems to be one of those times. When she has returned the money and apologised what more can she do? Perhaps if she made a video of herself nailed to a cross they might be happy but I doubt that from what they have posted at the other forum.

It is time for Chelle to move on, forget about the outfit, and learn from the experience as I am sure she already has.

And Chelle always remember this great old saying....

"A stitch in time keeps your ass from hanging out"

    Not to mention...

"A rolling stone packs a hell of a whollop"

    Smile Chelle, life is short.

You are definitey right xmarx! I have learned more than I can say from this. Among those lessons is not only to try and be honest about everything from the git-go whether people like it or not... but also I have been kind of hidden behind my rose colored glasses for way to long. I know that this will come as a shock to you guys but most people are not very nice.....

Wow, sorry, I didn't mean to upset anyone. I hope everything works out for you Chelle. I'm really sorry. From the thread I read on the other site, they were saying that Chelle wouldn't contact them or return their money and the costumes they recieved after the first ones were lost were of poor quality. All I was trying to say is that I think that Chelle should do all she can to preserve her name and business and sever all ties with these people. If they cannot be pleased then I guess that is ceartainly not Chelle's fault. I agree, the custome is not always right, but like I said before, word of mouth runs a biz like Chelle's. I just wish there were a way to stop these people. Maybe a slander charge?
Chelle, I am sorry for coming off the wrong way. I hope things get better. In your next reply please attach the link to your site. I'll be needing some outfits myself soon myself .
    Apologies for my stupidity,

You are not stupid in any way, if I had not been following this thread from the beginning I would have had the same advice and reaction that you had. You are a nice person and I can tell that already from seeing you around here, don't give it a second thought.

    Rose,

I am so sorry I never meant to snap back at you so! This whole nasty business has been very trying and I am afraid my professionalism has been stressed a bit lately. Please accept my sincerest apologies. I can see how this whole thing must look from the outside. Just please no that this is not my common business practice. I don't like to play tit-for-tat games with my customers and have honestly never had to deal with such animosity before. The people that I have been coming to know here at Stripper web whm I have begun to call friends have been very helpful in aiding me through this.

I would love to help you out in the costume area Please drop me a note,
